Really glad that we found this place. It's really cosy and the service and food was excellent! Reasonable prices. Can highly recommend.

We didn’t expect much from this road side shack given the shabby facade and menu filled with western dishes but the rice and curries served here (dahl, beans, and coconut sambol) were some of the tastiest we tried in Sri Lanka. As a bonus the curd for dessert was accompanied by an amazing coconut honey. The waiter/chef cooks the curries from scratch upon order so food will take a while to come out (ours took 45 minutes) but is worth the wait

Came on Boxing Day and it was full House. Owner/waiter told us from the beginning that the waiting time will be long - v nice and responsible of him!!! Ordered seafood fried rice, egg noodle, cheese omelette and seafood soup (no photo). Chill flakes given is super good, bet you’ll crave for more. They’re super generous in giving the cheese for the omelette. YUMS. Seafood fried rice and egg noodle are awesome, goes really well with the chilli flakes given!!! Seafood soup is super thick and flavorful - but slightly salty tho!! But worth the wait and try. :)

They serve very fresh and tasty srilankan rice and curry. don't mist this if you visit tisssa.
