Nicely shaded carpeted main road through the jungle. It is said that this is the largest Dipterocarp population in south asia. Dominted with Dipterocarpus zeylanicus, an endermic dipterocarp called "hora" tree in sinhala. So called Hora Forest. It is a Secondary forest.

දකුණු ආසියාවතුල වැඩිම හොර ගස් ප්රමාණය මෙම රක්ෂිතය සතුය. ස්වභාව සුන්දරත්වය ඉහල ස්ථානයකි.
උෂ්ණත්වය ඉහල වේලාවන් වලදී වුවද මෙම ස්ථානය හරහා ගමන් කරන විට ගතට සිසිලක් දැනෙයි.
