  One of the best primary schools in the area, which I received my primary education from grade 1-5. Teachers work more towards the education of students, specially for scholarship examination. Problem is the space in classrooms are not enough for students.

  හේමමාලී මහා විද්‍යාලය ගලහිටියාව ප්‍රදේශයේ පවතින පැරණිතම පාසැල් අතුරෙන් එකකි ගලහිටියාව හේමමාලී විද්‍යාලය කීර්තිමත් දීර්ඝ ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති පාසැලකි. මෙය හේමමාලී හේමමාලී මහා විද්‍යාලයේ ප්‍රාථමික අංශයයි.. එක වසරේ සිට හතර වසර දක්වා සිසුන් මෙම පරිශ්‍රයේ ඉගෙනුම ලබයි. කුඩා ක්‍රීඩා පිටියකින් සහ ප්‍රාථමික අංශය ට අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය අනෙකුත් අංගයන්ගෙන් මෙම පරිශ්‍රය සමන්විත වේ. මීට අමතරව විශේෂ අධ්‍යාපන ඒකකයක්ද පිහිටා ඇත.එමගින් විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා ඇති දරැවන්ට අධ්‍යාපනය ලබා දීම සිදු කෙරේ.
