We had a 5 day trip to Sri Lanka from Coimbatore. Pick up was done on time, second day we traveled to Kandy, after reaching Kandy, the driver was informed to take us to a cheap local hotel for accommodation, our accommodation was booked in a Sandriana Lake View hotel according to the schedule. When we called Ms Upuli, she gave a reason that Sandriana hotel is under renovation and all the bookings were cancelled. This was informed after reaching Kandy. To clear my doubt I called Sandriana Lake View Hotel, they confirmed that no room was booked on our name. Then we were forced to stay in a local hotel called Oak Ray City hotel which is half price of Sandriana Lake View Hotel. Now the problem started when water started leaking from the bathroom. When we called Ms Upuli, her response was like HOTEL HOUSE-KEEPING WILL TAKE CARE, When we tried calling her again for other assistance, she ignored our call. Fortunately our cab driver Mr Chandana was good enough to assist us locally. Kindly avoid these Green Holidays. Never mind to spend some extra money to have a hassle-free travel experience when you are home away.
