The buffet lunch was a decent selection and a range of curries even for a vegetarian. Nice environment to have lunch in. The staff a friendly and the service and the way their attire is align with classic tradition and class. This place more suitable for a calm environment which has the outdoor touch to it over being there for food itself. The combination makes it a better place.

Went to have hoppers for dinner. Though there were only a few guests, the server took a long time to get us the menu, and that too after giving the menu cards to a group who arrived later than us. Ordered a chocolate milk shake and got a vanilla. The fish curry would have been lying around for a while because it was so cold. Was not surprised when there was nothing to wipe our hands with! The bill came after the second reminder. Absolutely zero value for the money spent. Would not visit ever again.

This is a great place for the lunch buffet when it’s good value great tastes. I’d avoid it for dinner though as just like other reviewers have said the portion sizes are really small. My prawn dish had some very grey/uncooked prawns and to be honest flavour wasn’t great. But for lunch it’s super awesome and highly recommended. Service was fine, friendly. Good price for lunch.

Buffet lunch is very very expensive and not worth the price (rice and curry with fish is 680 without service charges), and what you get for the price is very average. If you can walk couple of block to Queens Cafe you get a better quality lunch buffet for 425, plus air conditioned dining space.

Wasn't happy with the service quality here. The staff were not friendly and not interested in giving me their attention. The other customers did get better attention however.

At one point, I had to raise my voice and say "come here and give this", when the girl at the counter kept ignoring me. I had to take the food from there, as I had to rush back to hospital. Otherwise, would have given them a good dose and left to go somewhere else

Never going back, so you've lost me as a customer

Prawn cocktail was really bad. Main dish did not have any salt.
They have let us wait for 45minutes and brought pre-dish and main dish together.

If you are a kolombian, they you sure would have grown up to Green Cabin's sweet including their eclairs, cream buns and pineapple gateau. Their sweets are yum but the savoury items including pastries not so much!

You can buy somewhat worthy short eats here. And they have a restaurant too. One of the palces that provide food for a reasonable price near Bambalapitiya. There is a car park in front of the shop in the road and a separate dedicated parking aside the bakery shop too. If you like you can have a candle light dinner too.

The service I have experienced today 30th Sep. 07, is terrible. The take away outlet cashier who worked there at around 1:30PM seems doesn't have any knowledge about customer service. He treated all the customers more like those customers have come for begging foods for free. He is highly unprofessional and should have understand that his salary is paying by customers. It's a worst kind of food outlets I have visited even though the food is tasty. However the restaurant staff is providing a good service and entire image of the business is damaging because of few silly employees.

342 rupees for a more than decent rice and curry, a lovely lady who answered all my questions before I asked and the possibility to stay Long after finishing to work on my laptop (work made efficient thanks to the serene atmosphere you'll find there). Get there around 12, this is when the buffet begins.

Great food which is worth the price. Would recommend trying the Beef pie and the steak & liver pie. Has a good ice coffee. Has a few parking spaces. The parking lot entrance is adjacent and just before the building as you are driving from Bambalapitiya towards Kollupitiya.

For a good lump rice this is the place. Service is average. Reasonable pricing. They have a great dinner package with local food. You can also take a bottle to drink if u wanna.
