This place is the teaching hospital of Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Teachering Hospital.
There are five academic departments available.
Department of Ayurveda Basic Principles, Department of Dravyaguna
Department of Kaumarabruthya & Sthree Roga, Department of Chikitsa
Department of Shalya Shalakya.
Undergraduate Degree
The Institute offers the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree, a six year course including one year internship training in state hospitals. Further the institute provides the facility for Ayurveda graduates to upgrade their administrative capabilities by conducting Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Management.
Currently the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree programme is conducted by 5 departments of study namely the Department of Ayurveda.

This is a teaching hospital for Ayurvedic medicines. Clinics provides best services for patients. People come from faraway places like Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa to get treatments. For clinics patients has to come early in the morning and get numbers. So some patients spend the night there since the numbers are limited.

Good Ayurveda treatment is done.
It is a teaching hospital of Gampaha Wickramarachi Ayurveda Institute of University of Kelaniya
All treatments are available.
Pediatrics, Out Patients unit, ENT, gynecology ,etc
Treatments for eye disease and dental clinic are also available here
