It's worst that the salesmen's here are extremely unfit for the position they work for It is always that they need to respect the customers which they don't do Customers may not be interested to buy or they might just be visiting to check what they have

Completely the biggest scam out there. Went on November 15th with my family to sight see in Kandy. My mother wanted to buy me a gem ring as a gift and found one she liked. While my mom was purchasing the ring I, myself noticed all 8 employees speaking quietly and under their breathes . She baught a garnet ring for a well good price. It looked absolutely beautiful and I was flattered by the beauty. Unbeknownst to me just a week after and still visiting Sri Lanka, the ring became immediately dark and had a black exterior. Realizing that the ring wasn’t even silver in the first place! Also doubting the gem all together. Now leaving Sri Lanka I’m leaving my mother with a burdon to fix this issue and get a refund or get compensated. Absolutely stupid.

Its simply a scam. The so call gems are all fake not even worth of $1 usd. But they will say around 100usd. Eventhough knowing thats a fake if you want to buy. Ask for 15 to 20% of the price which they say. We enquured about a Stone which they said 35000INR nd we bargained for 12k and they are ready to give. So this proves the worth of their goods..
