Yet again, an excellent place to spend the evening, watching the sunset, walking, and letting your young children to play! Lots of people of all age groups engaged in various leisure activities here. Plenty of street food stalls to enjoy as well.

Open for public and anyone can come in. A nice get away place and a great place to be to watch the sun set. The type of food you can enjoy has a great variety. The place need a bit of good maintenance and the crows are fearless and try to drab your food.But other than thatthe place is good.

The Galle Face is a five hectare ocean-side urban park, which stretches for a half kilometre along the coast, in the heart of the financial and business district of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The promenade was initially laid out in 1859 by Governor Sir Henry George Ward, although the original Galle Face Green extended over a much larger area than is seen today. The Galle Face Green was initially used for horse racing and as a golf course, but was also used for cricket, polo, football, tennis and rugby.
