I travel to Sri Lanka yearly running photographic tours and choose this location for its eco friendly, cultural experience. The buildings are brilliantly created and designed using recycled material to such a tasteful standard by the owner Maullie. The property has been regenerated with careful thought to endemic flora encouraging native birds to return and jump around while relaxing. As photographers this is truly a delight and I can't wait to return in 2019. Definitely a must stay place. The food is the best all cooked on an earth made hob
The location is central to the famous Sigiriya Rock and the amazing Minneriya National Park with the best Elephant experience.

A lovely eco lodge set in the jungle. Rustic and open it's not for everyone, but for us it was a lovely place to stay.

The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. They cooked us the nicest vegetarian curry for breakfast I've ever had. The lodge itself is an experience you will not be expecting. Definitely stay here if you are planning to go to Sigiriya rock.

Tucked away off a rugged dusty road near Habarana, this forest retreat is a fantastic stay. Maulie and her staff are attentive and helpful with arranging jaunts to local sites. Communal meals are a great way to hear how others are exploring Sri Lanka and hear Maulie's perspective from her extensive experience in Sri Lanka. Very highly recommended stay as long as you're willing to unplug for a bit. Book early.

An amazing place to stay! Beautifully peaceful and the food was plentiful and delicious. The was a gorgeous place to stay in Sri Lanka!
