If you are planning to enter into Wilpaththu National Park or To sea Side you must take tickets from here. Otherwise you must stick on the Mannar road. If you take tickets for people and vehicle you will receive a guide person and you can travel inside Wilpattu park. Guide is mandatory. If you have a 4x4 vehicle you can go in it otherwise you can hire a special safari vehicle. Tickets cost around Rs. 50 per person and Rs. 300 per vehicle. This is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. Park opens 6.30am and closes 6.30pm.

It’s only the entrance! It’s where you get your tickets. There is space for parking, but if it’s a lot of buses and so on you have to park out site the parks boundary where there is no shade or anyone to look after them.
There are few toilets and no accommodations or restaurants.
It’s on the bank of a River and has nice view.

This office did not mention anywhere visitors has to take a ticket for entering to the jungle.
so do not pass the this point without ticket.because mid of the jungle having no wildlife office.they always getting ready to catch us.
pls do not forget the ticket if you wanna visiting to the point kudiramalai.

It is the second entrance gate of Wilpaththtu National park situated in Eluwankulam side. vehicle and people drive and walk small dilapidated bridge to cross the Kala oya. Kala Oya make beautiful scenic view. it's also the main road Puttalm to Mannar , but not carpeted or concreted. very muddy and dusty environment through the end of the Journey.

While we were doing a Rd trip on west coast we went thru wilpattu park from puttalam to mannar.its a gravel Rd since 4W off Rd is advisable.v were in our hylux Toyota .2 hour ride across red soil outback passing many lakes.
