What a beautiful place to stay in gorgeous log cabins with stunning mountain views! Very romantic setting; waking up to birdsong in a huge four poster bed (which was ridiculously comfy) & a private terrace where a delicious pancake fruit breakfast is served every morning with breath-taking views. Everything was new and super clean. I think the duvet inner was even silk not polyester? Honestly, I was blown away by Ella Ridge View. Such good value for money and far exceeded varied standards experienced during our month in Sri Lanka. And they even dropped us to the station for free! Went above & beyond hospitality expected. Everyone who worked there were smiley & friendly despite language barrier. Wish we had stayed an extra night, not for Ella town but for our log cabin!
It's not on the busy strip but a short walk away. However, well worth it for the views and immersion in nature. Also means you're closer to Little Adam's Peak & 9 Bridges walk.
Don't hesitate to book this place, I'm pretty sure its one of the best choices if not the No.1 choice!response / report this review -

This house is absolutely everything as advertised. I stayed here for 7 nights. The view is incredible, pictures can't do it justice. The room is very large, the bed is amazing, the wifi is fast, and they make a great local breakfast. Lasantha is a wonderful host. He's very knowledgable of the area (as he grew up here), and is very educated. He's a great guy to have a conversation with about everything Ella, and will help you set up anything you want to do during your time there. There are a ton of little guesthouses in the area, but this is definitely one of the best! Do yourself a favor and book your stay here, worth every penny!

Really impressive view on both Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. Clean, simple cottage, friendly owners, very reasonable prices. 5 Minutes to walk to Ella town centre.

Small place with an amazing view and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The owner goes out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. Great place to relax for a few days away from the heat and to explore the beautiful landscapes around Ella.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Ella Ridge View and had a great time there! The bungalow is brand new, spacious and neat. The host Lasantha speaks good English and is very helpul. Just loved the balcony with the view on the mountain, it's a nice tranquil environment. The Home Stay is a bit up from the main street but not too far. I can highly recommend this place for people who enjoy scenery, friendly service and comfort. Bit than again, who doesn't enjoy that? :-)
