Very beautiful in the evening to spend time with your family. Great courtyard to sit and enjoy. Can be crowded in evening and weekends. There are restaurants, shops and bars. Evening time is a best time to visit. Best place for local and foreign tourist to visit. Enough parking space. Christmas season there are so many beautiful Christmas decorations all over the place.

Not too much shopping in the area. Spa Ceylon is located there, however. Plus an alleyway full of paintings and artists. Many restaurants located there including Black Pepper and Ministry of Crab that are pretty busy and well frequented by foreigners and the upper class Sri Lankans. Lively, lovely area overall if you want a night out on the town. Plus there were different bands performing around the area near the restaurants.

Very nice location great courtyard to sit and enjoy the ambience while sipping on some local beer and trying some of the seafood and fresh ocean produce the country is famous for.. you can download. Spot of curio shopping as well in the complex itself and get some good tea to take home for friends..

One of the best place for a dine out in colombo. Evenings are more colourful than the day time. Good restaurants with really delicious foods also many pubs for a chilling beer. Nice place for photo shoots also can enjoy live music in the evenings have good boutique hotels also good shops for a quick shopping

A nice place for a dine out. Evenings would be precious with delicious meals and beer while enjoying live music play.
Cool winds crossover the premises during the evening making it more interesting. Generally, it is heavily crowded and it seems every foreigner would love to visit the place.

The restored Dutch hospital of Old now in its full glory with a eclectic collection of shops, pubs, dining, fine dining and miscellaneous boutiques. A rustic place with great ambiance to dine, shop or just hang out. Being at the heart of Fort many other attractions and hotels are just round the corner. A worthwhile stop for the tourist looking to pickup a souvenir or maybe just a beer.

One of the trendiest parts of the Colombo city! Basically this is the old hospital area which they have revamped! This place has some of the trendiest drinking spots in town and there are a variety of places to choose from a normal pub like atmosphere to a more upscale rooftop bar and restaurant! The road adjoining which is called the hospital street is very famous for hosting various art, jazz and street food festivals on a monthly basis and attracts locals as well as tourists to this area! A must try place for a tourist to hangout and experience a different upscale side of the Colombo city

A little too crowded at times but this place is just magnificent. Ideal for an outing with friends where you can indulge in a little aimless walking-about.
The place has been renovated well, keeping its historic feel while giving it a modern touch. During Christmas this place is alive with activity.

Best place, if you're looking for a place to dine. Prices are on the higher side, but worth the try. Tends to get busy towards the weekend, but I'm sure the happy hour would do the trick for you!

Great hangout location. Several choices of high-end restaurants and cafe. Open, calm, hangout ambiance in the middle of hustle of uptown Colombo.
Great for meeting up, Lunching, a casual drink. But can get busy in the evening. . .
Few shops for a quick pickup of a souvenir or a reading. But not the greatest location for spending big!

What a nice place to have a cool time with your loved once. There are so many types of stores all over here. You can buy foods and drinks and can have them on outdoor seats. It is such a beautiful view it gives in evening. Specially with a cool or hot drink it will make more awesome. Specially this is Christmas season neh, so there are so many beautiful Christmas decorations all over the place. Specially there are food fests through out every months. Try that out too

Have been there since it's opening many times. Excellent place to chill with family and friends. Nice Ambience as well. Slipknot is the best band and superb every time I have listened to them. For a weekday or weekend evening the best place in Colombo to meetup over drinks. Highly recommend.

Mostly art and craft shops in a pleasant setting. Surrounded by restaurants. I liked it, but not my type of shopping. Might be good for hanging with friends at evenings.

I honestly don't know what the hype is about this place. The buildings are super old, so they are considered "culture" but honestly the views are drab. The restaurants are alright with good service, but the precinct itself is mediocre at best.

One of the Oldest Dutch hospital complex from the past. But now this is modified as a luxury shopping complex including Burger king and lot of different kind of Restaurants. Huge front area with calm environment. Best to sit & chat there at evening times

Good place to hang around in the evenings. The place is nice with live music specially on Fridays. But I gets too crowded on weekend evenings and on Fridays. Good food and a good selection of Cocktails

Great place to get a bite. Ministry of Crab is located here. Also since this is close to the fort bus station it is a good stop to get some food while departing or arriving.

Doesn't feel like one is in Colombo anymore. Lot of colonial architecture to admire at while chilling with a beer. A quite and peaceful place to rest your legs after a tour of bustling Colombo.
