  I‘ve been three weeks to sri lanka and i definitely can say that my stay at dudleys guesthouse was the best in sri lanka i‘ve been to.
  Dudley is a very friendly and accommodating host. He helped me to save money (organzied a safari with other guests of him) and in the evening he prepares dinner for all of his guests. That‘s really amazing to learn to know others in that place and talk about their experiences.
  
  The rooms are very clean and big and i also had an ac. There is also a quite big and gorgeous garden.
  
  All in all i really enjoyed my stay at Dudley‘s guesthouse and i definitely will come back there!

  Very nice place, you feel like ur in the jungle. Mr. Dudley is a very friendly and helpful host for all matters. Best breakfast i had in Sri Lanka so far. Clean n tidy rooms. Dont miss this place.

  It's the best place to stay in Habarana, while sightseeing Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura.
  
  We have checked 3 other places before we finally got to Dudley's place and that was it!!!
  
  Don't hesitate - this is definitely the place, where you want to stay.
  His wife is a great cook. Mr. Dudley will help you in anything you want. Starting from cold beer to great safari.
  
  They prepared great diner during which they described all traditional dishes. Awesome desert and entertainment by their kids playing drums.
  
  Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Location is good starting point for all the trips. If you are traveling by bus (it's not so close to bus stop, but probably just call him and he will get you to/from bus stop). It's very quite place and you can meet there other very friendly travelers like you!

  Il prezzo (44,40 usd) a notte per questo posto é un vero furto. Ne vale forse la metà! Camera terribile con lenzuola piene di macchie, bagno con specchiera tutta impolverata, cuscini puzzolenti.
  La colazione (in stile 'Sri Lanka) immangiabile. Soprattutto quella he viene presentata come la specialità della Signora Dudley!
  Alla richiesta della ricevuta (visto che al prezzo richiesto hanno aggiunto le tasse all'11%) sono scomparsi i sorrisi iniziali. Mille scuse fino a quando non ci hanno fatto la ricevuta. Appena andati via ci hanno cancellato la prenotazione fatta con booking per evitare la nostra recensione! Ecco perché hanno voti così alti! Appena qualcuno manifesta un problema, subito cancellano!
  Abbiamo chiesto uno scooter per un giorno e ci hanno chiesto 2000 rupie al giorno ( quando poi abbiamo scoperto che i prezzi normali sono 1200-1300 rupie!)
  Quando abbiamo chiesto info per andare a Kandy in bus ci hanno sconsigliato in tutte le maniere (dicendoci che sono scomodi, che probabilmente saremmo rimasti in piedi, che ci mette tanto ecc), quando poi in 2 ore siamo arrivati a Kandy comodamente seduti pagando 120 rupie a testa, contro i 50 usd che ci aveva chiesto per accompagnarci.
  Prima volta che mi capita una situazione di questo tipo, soprattutto ingannato dagli alti volti di questi signori sui vari siti di prenotazione!

  Cannot fault this guesthouse it was fabulous. The hosts and their two sons were so friendly and hospitable. The room was a good size, bathroom was massive and all lovely and clean. Breakfast was a delectable Sri Lankan feast..delicious! Their restaurant was good also my partner ate there when I wasn't well! when I wasn't feeling well they really cared about my health and helped my partner organise another place to stay (they were full) and travel arrangements to our next stop. They can organise tuktuk for the sights also which we did. its a easy stroll to the town also. They truly went over and beyond..thank you!!
