not a friendly staff. i have very poor experiences with this hospital. they do not pay needed attention to the patient. not recommended. if can, skip this and go to Ragama or at least Seeduwa hospital.

Good service from staff members but cleanliness is not up to standards at all. In my case, when my friend got admitted here the doctor forcefully tried to do an operation, when his reports clearly indicated that his appendicitis is negative. Which makes me think why the doctors tried to do such things.

There are many well devoted doctors and nurses. But service of minor staff is poor. Medical wards and its toilets are not clean due to misbehaviour of some patients especially those who are not educated. Some patients act like animals in toilet using. Other wards, ICU, theatres are kept well.
Buildings/ facilities are inadequate.

I'm daughter of a patient who had been taking residential treatments in psychiatry unit in Negombo hospital. There's nothing to complaint about doctors, honestly they do their best and they are really kind towards their patients.
Now my mother is attending the psychiatry clinic in Negombo hospital (once or twice a month). The behaviour of low grade workers there is disgusting.
Some workers have no patience and they are so rude towards patients and their guadians.
In my point of view those healthcare workers who have no patience and have negative attitude towards their job should not be continued their work in the hospital.
And i suggest even general hospitals should have cctv cameras installed so that any lapse of the part of the workers can be investigated if things go wrong.
