  This Is Ancient Play Ground In Borella Town..Mostly It Is Cricket Play Ground But Lot Of Activities Do There..Its Own By Sri Lanka Railway ..

  Poorly maintaned

  Ground is good .. though bit small and toilet facilities could imporove.. dressing rooms are fine. Manageable for a decent club match. But Too many unauthorized houses next to a side of the ground. CGR should take this to a higher authority and resolve the issue. When hitting even the moderate size six, ball ends in those houses and they ask for money to cover damage even if damages aren't apparent. If not given they threaten players. this ground has been around for more than 30 years and these houses may be around 10-15 years .. take 15 balls when you are playing here since you won't get your balls back if landed near those houses.
