Nice location cool and calm..Friendly staff.rooms,bathrooms are comfortable but rooms should be large.Buffet also good.Variety foods and snacks here.Uncommon Style in this lovely hotel..we enjoy the holiday without any tention..Wildlife is close and view of this hotel awesome.Monkeys and wild pigs are surrounded..relax..

On arrival our room was not ready, we had to wait until 1500, the service is the bar was very slow. The food from the pool bar is good, unfortunately the buffet meals provided for breakfast and dinner are of a lower quality. The pool has many sunbeds and getting one is no issue. The staff are very helpful. There is wild animals around we saw lizards, boar, crocodiles and monkeys. Bug spray is a must!

Fantastic hotel! Night and morning safaris were both equally brilliant, although we seen more wildlife in the morning. The room fit in well with the environment and the sea view was beautiful from the terrace. Good variety of food in the evening. The staff were very helpful and informative. Would recommend this hotel.

Vying for top spot as my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Within a couple of hours of our arrival we had seen crocodiles, boar, monkeys, a giant lizard, and buffalo. All wild. The room was large, very comfortable, and being next to the sea allowed us to hear the sound of waves breaking. Food was good - a great selection though more limited to vegetarians like me. Pool is great - big enough and with pretty views. Would recommend.

Loved this place. The wildlife within the hotel grounds is astonishing. In our fairly brief stay here (3 nights) we saw Langur monkeys, water buffalo, crocodiles, wild boar, herons and monitor lizards within the hotel boundary. Apparently leopards and elephants are also frequent visitors.
The staff at Cinnamon Wild Yala were very friendly and helpful also.

Wonderful place if you love to enjoy wild life and that kind of nature. Cool & Friendly staff. Food is average and tasty. Limited number of varieties.

Nice place to stay and very close to the national park. Staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Nice roof top bar to enjoy a pre or after dinner drink. The dinner and breakfast buffets had a large range of food to chose from and tasted great.

This hotel is unlike any other we have been to. It's right in the heart of a nature reserve. There is a lake very nearby with basking crocodiles! After dark, you get an escort from and to your lodge. It's an amazing place, and it's worth getting on a jeep safari into the park proper.

Wild Yala offers a range of accommodation and is situated in the Wilderness, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was so good, as the whole point of this holiday was to relax and unwind and disconnect from the world. Great place to relax and enjoy good food.

The hotel has an amazing location with the swimming pool overlooking a watering hole and the accomodation scattered through the jungle towards the beach. The food was very good and all the staff friendly and so helpful, as is the general theme in Sri Lanka! Rooms very comfortable, with all mod cons. We stayed in the beach huts which are on stilts and moments away from the wild beach. It is very pricey, but as we treated it as our few days of luxury and wildlife for us it was worth it.

Nice pool and fun with a lake full of crocodilles 25 meters away. Dinner is quite expensive so go for halfboard if possible. It would also be good with a familie sized chalet.

If you're into wildlife and a slightly feral 5-star experience, this is your best best. I've stayed here twice now and will keep going back. The location is brilliant, the staff are extremely helpful and you're bound to meet a wild boar or two as you walk back to you room after lunch. The safaris with the hotel's naturalists are brilliant. They make the park experience so much better and insightful. Highly recommend the night safari too!

Had a great experience here. They don't allow you to walk alone at night due to wild elephants romain the land. We saw Leopard on the safari. You don't need to book the safari from the hotel. It will cost less and be basically the same.

Wonderful place. Great food Very comfortable rooms. Close to Yala National Park with lots of wildlife in the local lagoon. At night animals Can come into the grounds so you need to be aware after dark.
