Room condition was good. Bathroom is with a tub, and all facilities are there. I would say in overall room conditions are four star. Foods are tasty but don't expect a five star buffet. Limited options available when it comes to foods, but the restaurent is very clean. Good gym, kiddies play area, mini cinema and nice pool adds value to the hotel. Staff are friendly but slow in services especially room services. Mark my word room services is the worst! Beach was not that great may be due to monsoon season, but it's clean and good for jogging. I'm giving a overall rating of three due to possibility availavable for the hotel for further improvement of its service offerings.

My husband and myself went to Lavanga Hotel and found a very and friendly atmosphere. All people work there made us feel welcome, specially people in reception ready to help us in special young man called Chathura and the girls! Thanks

One of the best hotels in Hikkaduwa. Foods are contemporary and local cuisine available too. Their Function Hall is in high demand in the area. However, their rates are a touch expensive.

Very nice hotel ..Rooms r neat and clean and beautiful good view from balcony My son enjoy the movie in their theatre and had good fun to ride the cycle which hotel is provided to all the guests food is excellent ..chef Paramveer has made very nice Indian cuisine specially for us.. overall good experience in this hotel

Came here for a company conference..
Place is cool with good amenities, beach front and pool area.. Kids would enjoy their stay here with family.. As being pure vegetarian, my problem was that I don't prefer having food where non-vegetarian food is served, but I am so grateful to the staff, especially Mr. Basith and Chef Lakmal, who arranged this salad & variety of fruits.. Thanks so much..

nice place good service.. not so much of food Verities. but not bad. Nice clean pool and have mini pool too.. Parking also safety. Rooms also nice. Nice staff working in there.. Banquet hall in 5th floor. nice view. sky bar / baby pool / mini Cinema / Child play area / Gym also available.

Superb stay for a family. Beach is super clean and can enjoy to the max. Baby pool attached to the main pool is great. Gym and the kids play area and the mini theatre allows you great family time. Certainly they can improve on the food range in offer. Friendly staff has surely encouraged us for another stay. Thanks.

Food was good but no varieties.. Staff were friendly. But room at upper most floor was a complete turn down. Guess the promotional pricing received was good only for a visit.

Not very flexible when it comes to early check in or late check out.. food is pretty average.. rooms are not very large.. pool is good.. the beach in front is pretty good.. suitable for budget travellers who do not expect much luxury out of a hotel..

I was used there chat in official website. Surprisly the response was quick and I got offer 35% off due to off-season. I directly gone to the resort and ask for the dicount they allowed me that offer.The staff is helpful explained every thing.But we didn't got any welcome drink. They asked for 20 minutes for preperation of the room. We got room with sea view it dosn't have balcony. But nice view of beach. The room is clean with AC, blowers and fan.

The pool area they have changing rooms and showers. They have towels and all other things in pool area. The pool bar is closed during our stay. Of the pool shallow end is more the deeper end very short and depth nearly 5feet. Easy access to beach area. But Sea has current in that area we couldn't go for swim.

They have mini film hall. We enjoy a film there. Air conditioned room with nice comfirtable seats.The first movie is free and others need to pay 5dollers. Even In the rooms for movies they charge this.

Foods they have set menu with limited selection. In breakfirst they prepared buffey with local and western verities. Food delicies, good services we have offered.

The water sports not available due to off season. Hope to try in season.

The overall stay is good and satisfactory.

Nice hotel adjoining the Galle - Colombo road. The rooms are spacious and we (my family) were lucky enough to get a room with a sea view. The carpets, the sofas and some of the furniture can use some cleaning. However the bed and the bathrooms were adequately clean.
Would like to see few more options in the buffet, how ever the food is delicious.

Got our lunch order totally wrong! Likewise for all other diners at the time, sent their dishes back! Manager waived our bill for couple of drinks we had waiting and insisted we took some cakes from their bakery as a good will gesture - we said no thank you. However, half an hour later the waiter from Lavanga found us in another hotel almost 10 kms away.(he knew the tub tuk driver we used - apparently) and demanded that we paid for the drinks we'd had at Lavanga which his manager had waived! To avoid a scene in a busy place, we paid! Will never visit again!

Im sorry but bad experiance. Cannot recomend. Food is super expensive and small as it can be. Dinner buffet is more expensive than cinamon grand lol plus they charge 700 something called IPTV witch the same channels I get on my dialog TV.
