Excellent food, good price, wonderful staff.
Pineapple juice was like a blended pinapple, so thick & sweet.

The Damage (no drinks): LKR 600-1k for two
Quaint simple eatery near Sigiraya rock that is frequented by a lot of tourists. Hits include their spicy Kothtu Roti

Best smoothy we had in Sri Lanka! No added sugar or water, mineral water ice cubes. So delicious!! Also rest of food very fresh and tasty. On top of it it was cheap. Will go there again tomorrow :)

The food was really good and cheap too! Had plain rotti with curry which came with tasty dhal too and it only cost LKR 350! Cute family restaurant and served by the daughter who spoke great English, even got cheap water and free bananas when paying for the meal! Would definitely go back again!

stopped here after completing from sigiriya rock on suggestion by our driver. we had one portion of vegetable kottu @ 250 lkr, 1 stuffed roti@ 50lkr (looked like an indian samosa) and took 3 parathas @ 50 lkr each as takeway. All items were freshly prepared in front of us and tasted pretty good. The kottu is a complete meal in itself and the portion is good enough for 2 light eaters. A well spent 450 lkr. Do try it.

It was in the lonely planet and the owner also mentioned she used mineral water for ice and smoothies so we gave it a go, or tummies can't take the local water. The mango smoothie was delicious, wish more places did mineral water smoothies. And to eat we had chicken kottu and chicken and roti. I love the way daal comes with all the curries sometimes it's better than the curry itself!
