  Lovely family owned restaurant. The couple are very passionate about what standard of food they prepare for their guests.
  We had breakfast there, sujith and his wife prepared egg hoppers and sambal, fresh fruit and tea.
  Try local instead of the big restaurants and you will enjoy the friendly hospitality more so.

  Lovely owners who are happy to chat with you. Excellent food, we tried the vegetable curry and grilled fish and can recommend both!

  We had delicious vegetarian curry, grilled fish and a fruit desert. If you like good food combined with nice people we recommend to eat here. Dont get irritated by the restaurant across the street with lightning and rather pick Chanika :)

  Me and my husband had some super delicious curry here, the owners are lovely and the food was so fresh and amongst the best curries we had in Sri Lanka! We'll definitely be back :)

  Sh*tty overpriced place with plastic chairs next to highway. Price as high as in fancy restaurant directly on the beach. Typical sri lankan family serving and standing next to you observing how you eat.
  They try to catch people with Russian descriptions on the walls, don't be stupid, avoid the place.

  I haven't tried the restaurant but the beach next to this is just amazing! (Had no idea what it's called but worth the stop) It is just after the Tangalle Bay hotel and before Chanika restaurant. You can't miss it!

  Fantastic local food and service. Restaurant is run by the whole family and they were very friendly. Highly recommended for a local food experience.
