Ceybank rest is one of the most visited place in my life. From the age of 10 up until now we select this place when we visit Anuradhapura. My family has visited so many time and even we had a friend alike waiter who served us really well in most of our visits.

My favorite place to stay at Anuradhapura. Very friendly staff with tasty food options. And this is very close to the scared city.

Car park is little limited, but you can find a spot to park always.

There's a small shop near to the rest you can buy stuff.

We have been there 4 times now and this is one of the best places to stay at a reasonable rate if you visit Anuradhapura.

Quiet environment within the sacred city of Anuradhapura. Walking distance to Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanweliseya and many other attractions.

They serve Sri Lankan food (& western food on request) at the restaurant at a very reasonable rate too.

The management needs to pay more attention to the maintenance of the property as we have seen a decline of the quality of the rooms (new wing) due to lack of maintenance since we visited first in 2013.

Overall, this is a very good place to stay.

I'm not sure if my experience at this place is a fair representation of the general standards of this hotel. But here it goes. The bathroom ceiling was leaking and the drips land straight on your body when you are on the toilet seat. The bedsheets had so many stains and the drinking glasses were not properly washed. I'm sure not all rooms will be of this standard. However I would recommend that guests physically check the room prior to checking in.

Can experience one of the best hospitality one expect from a state manged hotel . Food at restaurant is tasty and at a reasonable price. The driving force of this place is the Manager. I have seen how the services of Ceybank rest improved since 2011.
Location is very close to town and secred places.
Rooms are well maintained. Ideal for a traveller or a pilgrim who expect a decent stay at Anuradhapura.
Managrment, sevices and quality surely deserve five stars.

Prices are really reasonable. Located in ideal place closed to the historic places, town & the railway station. Parking is available without any hassle. Spacious rooms with good amenities. Very tasty breakfast. As overall, good hotel for the price paid.
