Nice little place to hang out. We only had a coffee because everyone seems to say its great. We thought it was good for sri lankan standards. However don't expect a real high western style quality espresso coffee.

It's a "natural" coffee place. Had seating of couches and tables & chairs/ stools, menu written in blackboards, urban decor, and all sorts of coffee. It's good Sri Lankan coffee! Didn't eat, so not sure what food is like.

Fantastic spot in Trincomalee. Food was fantastic and the hosts where really friendly and the spot itself is greatly. Definitely recommend it to any and all what want a chilled out but great meal.

Trendy place. Unexpected in the locality. No alcohol allowed. Waiting time for food is understandable, in this part of the island. Pulled Beef sandwich is pretty decent and good value for money at Rs. 700/- nett.

Maybe it’s yummy but it’s way too expensive. Good for just 2 perhaps! Average 10-15$ Per head. May not be suitable for groups!

The menu is limited but the cafe/restaurant is great at everything it does. Their tea and coffee is top notch, so is the service, so is the value and so is the food.

Wonderful little restaurant in Uppuveli, Trincomalee. They serve tasty food. Place is designed beautifully. Limited space though. Sometimes, bus loads of tourists arrive making it impossible for anyone else to access the place. Parking is limited too. I am sure that the owners didn't expect this much of popularity when they first opened the place - hence the small room and no dedicated parking lot! On hot days it can get really hot inside as there's no air-conditioning as yet. WiFi is free and good. They are open 8am to 10pm. Despite the little issues, this is one place you must visit and have a meal in Trincomalee.

Trendy, minimalistic place with a hipster vibe. Local owner who's very nice. All day breakfast menu and some seafood and noodle dishes at night. Breakfast was what we loved most, warm red rice coconut milk pudding is yummy and not too sweet. Porridge can be had hot or cold. I had it cold, like overnight oats, topped with banana. Coffee and milky tea served in light bulb glasses like in Taiwan. Lime juice was very good. Came here 4 times in 3 days!

By far the best café we've been to in Sri Lanka. It reminded us so much of the cafés at home in Berlin.
The interior is very stylish and unique, very hip. Best coffee I had in Sri Lanka, they also have Ice Coffee - the salvation in the Sri Lankan heat :)
Food is also excellent and affordable, either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The biggest plus point is probably the owner, such a nice and openminded guy who told and explained us so much about Sri Lanka, its culture and people in the five days we've stayed in Uppuveli. We went there at least once a day!

Highly recommended.
We will miss the ice coffee and talks!

This is simply the place to be!
The most perfect, clean, friendly ambience I could find in all of Sri Lanka.
The smoothies are to die for and the whole café is a real oasis.
Highly (!) recommend!

Nice place with very friendly staff and good food! Although there has been a power cut all day long, the owner managed to prepare some very tasty paninis! I would recommend this place to anyone who's into a fair priced Sri Lankan foodtent with a European twist to it. This might sound a little bit odd but, yes this place had lampshades and warm yellow light in stead of bright, white, led lights Loved it!
