  We did a cooking class for a more than reasonable price (compared to all other places in Ella) and it was just so good!! The 5 curries we cooked were all delicious and the cook was very good. If you're looking for a cooking class for a good price, it is the right place. Everyday at 1 or 6 for 8 USD inkl welcome drink and small dessert.

  The most tasteless fried rice I ever tasted. Even microwaved prepacked rice from the supermarket has more taste to it. And they have no problems to charge you 10% extra (not quoted on the menu) for 2 plates of food, which we didn't eat at all and they don't even ask why

  Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. Get away from the Ella strip and step into a local taste sensation. Certainly up there with the other best curry we had in Sri Lanka. Definitely the best chicken.

  Wonderful cafe in ella. This cafe situated center of the city. Not too far for the Ravana Ella Water fall. I have superb experience at this cafe.

  Cooking lesson about Sri Lankian traditional food was amazing and the rice and curry was the best one tried in two weeks in Sri Lanka!!!

  Great little place. Very relaxing, had one of the best rice and curry(veg)..
  As previous reviews say staff are eager but I found them very nice and just keen to impress. It's always best to order local cuisine and I'd give this one two thumbs up!!!

  The cooking demo was awesome ! The chefs spoke excellent English and the explanations where very interesting. The dinner we ate afterwards was sooo yummy Amazing experience overall!

  Really nice atmosphere we thought. We ordered two cocktail and it took them +30 minutes, with no other customers in the restaurant, to make them. And they very not very good. Didn't eat there. Go for a beer and the atmosphere.

  I like atmosphere of this place, nice design and very cozy. Food was delicious, chef salad, soup, pancakes👍+ very helpful and kind people working there, it was a pleasure for me to spend time there after a long road! Wish all the best to this nice place

  Pro:
  Really cool building and atmosphere.
  Tomato soap is excellent. Pasta was good overall.
  Eager staff.
  
  Con:
  Pizza was not available, cheese on pasta was not so good.
  Caipirinha was awful, not freshly made, no limes, just ready-made mix in a wine glass.
  Food and drinks took quite long and it seemed a bit disorganized
