The place is a priceless gift from mother nature and we humans are destroying it piece by piece. The place is overcrowded all the time. Polyethylenes and plastics are everywhere. However the place is good for an evening gathering.

A very large and popular beach located in Negombo area. This beach becomes very crowded in the weekends as well as in the evenings. It is popular among the locals. But not a clean or Nice beach. Full of garbage, local thugs. So be careful when you visit there with ladies and kids. No proper parking plan or ticketing system. Not recommended for those who loves calm and quiet beaches.

Awesome place to relax alone or with your loved ones. Located in a calm environment but the occasional party will light up everything. Enjoyed by locals as well as foreigners equally and this is quite the place for an evening jog or a walk.

This is very cool place. Nice beach to visit. We can also bath from here. Life guards also there. Parking service is very bad. The guy collecting money is not good at all. He didn’t give the balance. ☹️ otherwise the place is very good. 😇

Beach side beauty is amazing.now the security also good police officers and life guards are there.good for family day out food here is not good you should bring it from outside dont use food carts most of them are very un healthy.

This place is popular among the tourists and couples. In this area there is many hotels and restaurants. Lot of them are only for tourist. Also this place is good for kids because this is a beautiful place and good for playing. Secure for swimming.

If you are beach lover, you will enjoy the place. There are small boats which can offer you a short ride in the sea for 500 Sri Lankan rupees, but be very careful with mobile phones and kids as the boat jumps a lot against the waves. Avoid visiting during week ends and holidays as there is too much crowed and traffic.

Wow, no words. Really good facilities for foreigners. People are saying Negombo is " little Rome" see it for yourself.

Negombo can't compete with the beaches further south, but if you are here then why not! It's nice for sunset in particular. Annoyingly few paths to get back onto the main road - because it's dominicated by big resort hotels. Not especially clean, but not awful.

Nice beach for spend a evening. You can try isso wade and many Indian / local foods from street sellers. Many entertainment events for kids in weekends. Properly maintained beach. On location parking available with On site staff and sequrity. parking fee for a car 50Rs per one hour. Changing rooms and fresh water showers available. you can try a boat ride too ;)

Beautiful and love the colors of sky at the dawn and dusk. Great place for a long walk and to chill with friends - but still have to admit it's dirty and polluted, eventhough it's getting better.

Nice & beautiful beach. You can bring your kids too. There are places to have a shower after a sea bath. Place is crowded the day I visited.
