Most of the time you can experience unexpected rains therefore make sure to take an umbrella with you. Also that place still doesn't get that much human attraction. So it still spread her beauty.

This is the smallest national park in Sri Lanka. Size is approximately 33 acres. But quite well packed with wet zone biodiversity. You have to walk up to the park from the entrance. Ideal place for a quick walk through the nature. I you are quiet and patient, you'll see some bird species and other small fauna.

Very good place to visit for education purpose.very kind staff in there.And there are a museum for students.. many kind of animals are in there for medical reasons But only motorcycle can reach to the exact place .. other vehicles can park near the road side.. Go and enjoy but please dont waste them

Natural forest in Nittabuwa area. But there are only tall trees. It takes about 1 h to walking the whole area. It is hard to see animals. No flowers in the park exept one wild variety. There is a small museum in the park. There is no guide to walk in the park. Somtimes road divided to three, four roads.

It is a great place to see some animals and tress in near colombo. But there are no parking facilities for vehicles other than motor bicycles. Very small forest about 33 acres.

he latest National Park in the country, “Horagolla” is the smallest under the Department of Wildlife Conservation. The preilimenary works were completed for openning the Horagolla National Park officially to the public.This 13.362-hectare National Park is located in the Nambadaluwa village in Udagampattuwa of the Siyane Korale in the Gampaha District.In the seventies’ decade the land belonged to the state, but on October 05, 1973 it was declared as a sanctuary considering the rich bio diversity prevalent in the area under the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance. Under the same Ordinance, this natural sanctuary was later upgraded as the Horagolla National Park on July 28, 2004.

Not much animals to see now. The whole area is only 23 Acres. But good for little walk in the woods. Staff is very friendly. You can park your bike inside the premises & if you came by any other vehicle, there's is no proper parking. Just park in the empty land near the entrance.
