  The BT/ Kannankudah Maha Vidyalaya is one of the leading schools in the Manmunai West Education Zone, Batticaloa District. This school have great 06 to A/L classes. The school situated in a traditional village called Kannankudah where Naddukkooththu (நாட்டுக்கூத்து) which is a traditional art, is very popular. Hence this school have achieved many awards in this art at national level too.
