Family friendly, received a warm welcome & they managed to arrange our room earlier than expected & we were so glad for it after a long drive from Colombo. Clean, cosy room with necessary amenities. Averagely spacious bathroom. Nice view from the room, enjoyed the sunsetting! Lovely yummy food specially the sea food. hospitable staff, well attending to kids needs. Loved the boat ride. 2 spacious swimming pools, with shallow end right along the edge so kids enjoyed a lot! Even those who couldn't swim could sit at the edge & enjoy the sunset. They also had villas in the lagoon which must be really good!

Had a awsome weekend there.room was so spacious and clean. Bathroom and tub was well maintained Staff is so friendly
I forgot my watch near the pool and i remembered it after five or six hours later.. ..when i informed the front desk they took immediate action. They called even their off duty staff. I had left it on a pool lounge chair
And pool master had kept it safe until someone come inquiring for it.the watch was returned next day morning. Will visit there again for sure.

Had a great 2 days stay here. Had a feeling that we were completely separated from the outside world. Got a spacious, greatly facilitated premium room with nice views on both sea and the lagoon. The best WiFi I have got from a hotel stay up to now is from here. YouTube videos could be played even at the sun bathing area near the sea. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was delicious. The hotel management has tried their best to keep the standards and they have been succeeded in most cases. 2 very large but shallow (4 feet) pools. Only drawback for me was that some of the extra activities offered such as cycling were expensive. But, we did Kayaking and it cost only Rs. 1000 for 2 persons and we were told to do it without any time restrictions. So, it was reasonable.

Amazing beach, great sunset. Brilliant rooms. Super staff. Delicious food. p.s. Would be great to have more variety. Best to avoid weekends and holidays if you want to enjoy a quiet relaxing time. Local office outings are a slight hindrance.

The place was perfect ! The room was massive and spacious enough for my little baby to crawl all over the place . And we got a room looking over the pool and the beach which was lovely . The balcony view was the best. The bathtub in the huge bathroom was remarkable too. And the in room dining is yum!!! Worth the price . Very friendly staff and the carts are just a dial away . They'll be at your doorstop in an instant so that you don't have to walk all the way . It was helpful for me with my baby.

The room was very clean and there were not a single insect . Loved every moment of it . And there are two pools amazingly beautiful. My baby did enjoy his time in the pool . The morning breakfast buffet was average.

UNFORGETTABLE DAY IN LIFE
We visited Anantaya Resort and spa with all our family members to celebrate new year's eve. This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful beach setting. From the warm reception and beautifully decorated waiting areas, Christmas trees and candles and the ornate structure of the buildings made the ambient stunning. Gala dinner buffet, pop music, dancing competitions, fireworks added colours to the event. Food was delicious. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

The place was beautiful with great ambiance and architecture! The food was average (some were bland) with not so much variety at the buffet. The rooms were spacious with a huge tub (maybe too large for one person, cz if took forever to fill-up). The beach was right across the rooms, giving a nice view, but I will not recommend sea swimming (as the coast is a bit eroded). Though i enjoyed the pool and its lounging chairs, this will be a one time visit for me.

A calm hotel by the side of the see. Have been to this place two times & The service & the food quality remains the same. Good staff. I recommend this place to all who wants a break from the busy life style. Specially if someone doesn't want to travel far from Negombo City & to people who wants to have a sudden weekend trip.

Good place to relax and enjoy your free time. They have a good buffet and a spa. Nice sea view, clean beautiful beach and specially good support staff will make your time much valuable. Don't forget to enjoy a kayaking ride.

Large rooms with modern furnishing. Spacious bathroom with a large tub and all the amenities for a relaxing bath. Clean beach spreading along the hotel giving a nice view all the day. Two large swimming pools with baby pools and sun shades make the place so special. Menu and the food could be improved though. Lot of greenery all around where children can freely stroll.

Very good place. Two swimming pools 50m and 60m. Many activities like horse/bike/boat riding, Beach volleyball, dolphin/whale watching etc.
Spacious place with a wide season front. Good to spend holidays with family.

A good place away from Colombo, well designed rooms, neat and spacious. Beautiful sea view, well maintained swimming pool. Courteous staff, good spread buffet. A recommendable Resort .

Amazing place and definitely value for money. Rooms were very roomy and nice. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was very extensive and had a choice for all palates. The surroundings are well intune with nature and is quite romantic.

Love the place. I booked deluxe rooms actually biggest rooms I've ever been to.
Major thing i enjoyed is pool. Normally in every hotel pool is pretty crowded but this hotel got several pools so we could enjoy without any interruptions. I really enjoyed my bath tub and morning bike ride. In summary i loved the place and hope to go again

A beautiful resort by the sea with spacious rooms and amazing views, the ocean is just inches away, and you're greeted with stunning views especially in the evening. The property has 3 large pools, which they have tried to keep it authentic as possible with cement floors rather than marble. the rooms are very comfortable and because the place is away from all the hustle and bustle, it is perfect to wind off and chill. The food is good but some dishes were not up to par. however the overall experience was delightful!
