Worst experience I've ever had with a rental car company. The first Toyota truck I received for a month-long rental immediately needed to be replaced, which the company agreed to. However, the second truck I received immediately had a number of problems, including a check engine light and loose battery cables. But the worst part of my experience was the horrible customer service provided by the manager, Mr. Sajad. During our discussions regarding the problems with the truck, Mr. Sajad was disrespectful, unwilling to help and at times threatening. Stay away from this company, even if they have good prices you'll regret the experience.

I just returned the car I rented for 3 weeks.
The car (Toyota Prius) was an absolute banger and a steal for the price.
Great stereo and puperb milage.
I will defenately return if I come back to Sri Lanka.

Had a very good experience renting car from this agency. The road trip around Sri Lanka was the highlight of our week long holiday and made possible by Ameri. Communication was through emails with prompt responses to all queries regarding rates, availability and even the model year of the car in question (Toyota Rav4). Quite flexible in terms of drop off and pick up times (Their representatives were available at the Airport at 6:00 am and 9:00 pm resp for pick up and drop off). Special thanks to Ms Devika who kept in touch through whatsapp and accommodated late requests. This is very important as road trips tend to not follow pre-planned itineraries :-)
One area which they can look into is providing unlimited mileage package . It will help those who want to tour this beautiful island nation without any constraints.
Highly recommended and keep up the good service.

We went there and got a price and a driver immediately. Price was fair given that the driver was available 20 mins later for a 5 day encounter. Driver was not very good at English and very often did nothing else then just following Google Maps. As we had a mobile with Sri Lanka offline Google Maps, we were telling him several times where to go next when the connection did not work. So overall: Price okay, driver did his work, we needed to contribute a lot. Next time we would try driving ourselves.

Given car was 85000 km old and CD player was also not working and there was no aux or USB slot in the car.
Still 4 stars as car condition was good and the communication from the company is good and people's are nice 👍🏻
Will book with them again on next trip to srilanka and I hope next Time they will give me the better car (not that old😝) and with working CD player and USB/aux port and also compensate for current car 😊

They rent out vehicles for our company and we are satisfied with the condition and models of their fleet. They are flexible and helpful in their service too. Most importantly they are member of the Rent A Car Association of Sri Lanka (RACA) and reliable. Overall fully satisfied and would recommend them to others.

This Sajad guy is a fraud. I hired a car from them and they told me they are going to send me a two years old toyota corolla but instead send me a toyota Belta which was used more than ten years and drove over 200, 000Kms, I asked them why you guys did such a thing and this Sajad guy said that's the only one they've got. I had to stick to them for few days because it was in the early December and all other car companies were booked out.

I drove that car for few days and it wasn't even road worthy then I returned it. This Sajad guy charged me a different rate to the one he promised me and he was so rude on me too. I didn't have time to take this to the police as I was in a rush to leave the country.
I talked with the driver who delivered the car. He told me this Sajad guy has given fake google reviews so that he can get more businesses.
Don't ever hire from these guys!
