I was there for one night with my family. We got two rooms. For two hours there was no electricity for both rooms. I had to suffer lot with my kids. Otherwise place is good and open spaces are there.

One of the best place to visit in the area. Highly recommended. Ambalama Leisure Lounge is a classy (Vintage Themed) restaurant. Great food and beverages, great service, great room facilities and amazing environment. Also pool and playground available. Prices are reasonable too.

The place is located in between Pahathgama and Kaluaggala. Just visited with some friends for a drink. Actually ole place is very quiet and peaceful. Also have lots of separated arras.

But when it comes to the food it's totally different story. They don't allow beverages for outside. So you are limited to the selection what they have. And the foods are really bad. The even can't provide nicely even a dish of boil Vegetables or Frid Rice. And also very expressive. Not recommend for a person who has a taste for food..👎👎👎

It's a great place to relax after a stressful week. Amazing change in landscape even though so close to colombo. Affordable place with basic amenities. Quality of rooms and food could be improved, but no complains comparing the prices. Pool, spa and outdoor activities available. Love the rustic outdoor concept. Place keeps improving!

Good place for a decent meal on your way both for local and foreign travellers. Good food and service at a reasonable rate. Friendly staff.

The staff didn't allow to order hoppers from the menu. They wanted us to have the buffet even though we were not hungry. They're trying to rip off customers. Restaurant has a bad smell as well. I have stopped here several times before but, won't be stopping here or recommending to anyone.

Average!!!
Pros : reasonable price. Ample parking. Nice interior. Strategically placed.
Cons; washrooms not cleaned properly. Poor selection on breakfast menu. Staff members are not friendly. The small pond area smells very bad.

We were at the restaurant for tea and snacks on way to Avissawella. It was a repeated visit there after about 2 years. All they could offer was some frozen Chinese rolls. Usually preparing them take about 5-10 mins. But we waited for about 30 mins when we were the only customers they had. On the other side, a toilet pit was being repaired and it was unbearable. We rushed them to get the bill. I wasn't happy with the bill value after the unhappy experience either..
