I was under the impression I was going to receive a relaxing treatment from a trained professional, unfortunately I ended up with Edward Scissor Hands.

When my body wasn’t getting repeatedly scratched by Edwards jagged nails, my skin was receiving the sandpaper treatment from his dry, callused hands. It was apparent Edward was not formally trained in massage, and his technique, which left much to be desired, was neither therapeutic or relaxing.

The tables were hard and unforgiving, with little cushioning and no face hole, causing your neck and body to ache throughout.

After an hour of unsolicited exfoliation, I left feeling like I had fallen off a motorbike at 100 km/h and slid along the asphalt in my birthday suit.

    A very disappointing experience.

Whilst the massage was okay, the professionalism was seriously lacking. The two masseuse didn’t leave the room for us to change in and out of our clothes and what was more awkward was that my partner had a male massaging him and while I had a lady she offered no privacy for me when she asked me to turn over. When I did turn over and saw she didn’t have a towel covering me, I noticed the male worker looking. Once I asked for a towel I did receive it to cover my chest, however after the massage he didn’t leave the room and it was quite uncomfortable and so I had to wrap the towel around me so I could move to the bathroom to change. The beds were also uncomfortable and didn’t have a hole for your head to rest in so your neck became quite sore. My partner also complained that his masseuse had very dry and calloused hands, therefore making the massage far from relaxing. Probably avoid this place.

The place is difficult to find, but it's worth it! Satchi gave me a very pleasant and energetic body and head massage. I could feel her experience, and the steam bad at the end was just what I needed.
