Amaya Hills is a wonderful hotel located in a wonderful location from where you can see list of mountain ranges. It's about 15 minute drive to the hotel from the City of Kandy. Meals are very nice and tasty. Swimming pool is child friendly and located in a place where you can enjoy the view while relaxing.

Nice hotel with 100 rooms. Outer surrounding area very beautiful. Place with a historic value. Antique furniture and very old architecture of buildings, upscaled to present appearance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Child friendly. Food was delicious. No elevator. But all other modern facilities available.

Amaya Hills is a beautiful Hotel located at the top of the hills. You can get a wonderful view of the surrounding area from the hotel. The surroundings are really beautiful with various kinds of plants. The hotel is well maintained and the staff members are friendly and they provide an excellent service.

The location and views from this hotel are amazing. From when you arrive at the open-air reception to the balcony of your room, you're greeting with a fantastic vista over Kandy and the surrounding area. The room is solid but the bathroom is tiny and woefully outdated which is strange for an otherwise nice hotel. The place caters to large tour groups and we found the pool too busy to really enjoy (not enough seating by quite a distance). The tour feel also persists at dinner which whilst decent had the sense of a large scale buffet to cater to the masses rather than any particular dishes being that great. It's a great experience thanks to the views, so make sure you're room has one, otherwise it's probably not worth the premium or the extra drive to the top of the hill.

Went there for a lunch buffet on weekend and buffet is normal. Food is good. But variety is less. Overall good. But it has wonderful views to take some good pictures.

Beautiful views, great pool area, lovely rooms and nice food. Really enjoyed staying here on our honeymoon. (On arrival, they very kindly brought us a celebration cake and some chocolates too.) Great service from all the staff during our stay. One way to make the hotel even nicer would be replacing the grouting in the bathroom tiles - but this wasn’t a big deal at all. We are very glad that we stayed and would recommend it.

Nice hotel in the near Kandy city. The hotel have marvelous view. This very good hotel in Kandy comparing with other hotel. Hotel staff also very kind and very help full. They try do their best to satisfy the guest. Front desk staff also very help full. They organized very nice candle light dinner is very nice. Hotel having enough parking area. Location is very cool at the night. Stay and get the experience.

The ultimate luxury hotel. It's superb in one word. The rooms, the food, the bar, the pool, efficient, friendly and helpful staffs, everything was up to the mark. I couldn't notice even a single drawback in any respect. The WiFi connection was also very nice. Loved my one night stay over there.

Our stay only for one night. We booked a triple room but they upgrade it to suite with out any additional cost. Our special thanks to Mahesh .That make our family stay together. Lovely place for relaxing,amazing view,great food,nice and clean rooms,Superb facilities

We stayed only one night. The location and mountain views are very nice. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The meals are excellent with good selection and verity. The swimming pool is very nice but didn't enjoyed much due to cold water condition most times. The WIFI connection is very good and fast

This is the place, if you want to spend your vacation in Kandy. Welcomed with an herbal tea, but I know that was coriander. 15-20 min drive from the city and the hotel built on top of hills with magnificent view from the room. From the Galaha junction to the hotel road is good condition too, you can easily drive yourself. Don't forget to select a room with the swimming pool view and view with stunning outlook on the valley and distant hills. Room was clean and perfectly arranged at the time of we arrived there. However, deluxe room little bit small comparing to other rooms in most of the hotels in Sri Lanka. Food was excellent, and you have millions of variations. However, you have limited selections of wine glasses and cocktails. So many variations on wine bottles, bit expensive. Dine-in room service is damn quick. Staff is good, but the response is too slow. I've to wait around 20min to get a cup of water on late night dinner at the main restaurant. That makes me angry a lot. Don't forget to have your dinner on outdoor terrace, close to the main restaurant. Make sure to reserve your table at the time of check-in or as early as possible. Check-in and check-out process is quite simple.

Situated on a hill top Amaya Hills has beautiful breathtaking panoramic views. We stayed for one night on 14 Feb 2017. It was Valentine day - the hotel was decorated with hearts & there was a violinist playing romantic music which made the occasion very romantic. The welcome drink- herbal tea with jaggery was very refreshing. The breakfast buffet was very wide spread with so much choice to suit all tastes and the food was the best we had in the entire trip. Rooms were medium sized but comfortable. The landscaping around the hotel was very beautiful. For elderly & kids having a elevator will be ideal.

Probably the best resort in the hill country. Super food super location and super friendly staff. Love the place and great to chill out after a busy urban life. Bit far from the Kandy city but it's worth the drive with the scenic beauty around.
