Nice place to chill out. Calm, peaceful place. Should visit once in your life time. You will go back for your next holiday.. view is nice. Food is cheap and yummy.

Awesome place. We spent two nights there. Food was really good. Room service menu would be much more easier than their 5 course meal. Photos shows the view. And just a tip, you’d be happy with the view of any other room than deluxe rooms. For the deluxe there’s just a mountain in front so you can really see far.

Nice restaurant in the middle of the tea plantation. Just went there to have a lunch after hiking mini Adams peak. Restaurant has good options with reasonable prices and wide range of food items. They have set menu with desert and all.

One hell of a lovely, scenic place in Ella, Sri Lanka. It overlooks little Adam's peak and tea plantations. We went to check the hotel as it stood out in nature saying I'm here.

Beautiful hotel! Great spa!
Their spa treatment rooms have huge open windows and probably one of the best views of Little Adams Peak.
We had 1h massage and could not have been happier with our experience. The people, the treatment, the atmosphere. Top notch.
It is more expensive than other places in Ella for sure, but it also offers a very different experience for this cost.response / report this review -

Picturesque, convenient to main attractions around Ella, chilly vibe, romantic, highly trained staff. Green hotel. Reserve the suite with the private pool.
Small issues like getting the buggy's attention to go around takes time. Bar can improve in terms of non-alcoholic beverages.response / report this review -

We stayed at the 98 Acres Resort recently and were extremely impressed by the attentive service of the hotel staff. One in particular named Tharaka, who went above and beyond in providing us with extremely good service. He is the type of employee that any employer would be lucky to have working for them in the hospitality profession. I am sure he will succeed beautifully.

We went on our way back from Little Adam's Peak.
We ordered spicy french fries , samosa , chocolate milkshake ,Ginger ice tea , Salt lassi , tomato and cheese sandwich , veg burger.
Loved the taste of all of them.

The best hotel in Ella, everyone loves this hotel. The location is the best, top of a mountain, staff is really friendly food is so good. Best place for a honeymoon couple. 98 acres is one of the best hotel I have ever been to. Recommend for all travellers and Honeymooners. This hotel is always full so you have to book before months 🙂

Incredible resort, luxurious, peaceful & reviving. The views are incredible from every angle & change throughout the day as the class form on different ways over Little Adams peak & Ella rock. Little Adams Peak is only a short walk from the resort, there & back will only take an hour as the altitude slows things up a bit. Ella town is close by but feels very hectic compared with the tranquility of 98 Acres. The spa was amazing & again you enjoy incredible views whilst being pampered from head to toe. Breakfast on the terrace beside the café is must. The only downside is the price but it's well worth the treat.

Nice resort. Little expensive, but concept is professional. So, they are all the time full. Friendly staff. Nice view of Little Adam''s Peak and 20 mins walk from hotel to Little Adam's Peak. Having different kind of room categories. A swimming pool and helipad also available there.

One of the few larger properties in Ella. A bit away from the town - needs a motor vehicle to access.
Property is built in the midst of nature - very serene, very quiet. Ideal for honeymoon or bit of romance.
Early evenings are ideal for sitting out on the balcony or the public spaces and enjoying the sounds of nature. Mornings are recommended for climbing the hills opposite or using the swimming pool. Recommend booking on Half Board - Dinner and Breakfast to fully enjoy the hospitality. Excellent wine menu.
Parking spaces are limited. Staff are friendly and efficient.response / report this review -

98 Acres was an absolute treat during our 2 week Sri Lanka trip. The service was incredible, the room was unbeatable, and the location was perfect (easy access to little Adams peak and nine arches, and a nearby tea plantation). I would highly recommend a stay here. We stayed in a premium deluxe room which was incredibly spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and the shower was amazing.

Awesome place. We really loved 98 Acres resort because of its simplicity and the natural beauty of the location. Not having lot of activities to do in the resort makes our stay very relaxing.
However the Ella area itself offers lot of things to do. That kept us buys but not super tired. Again it depends on what you chose to do and what you are looking for.

Enjoyed our stay here. Very serene. Stayed in a Premium Deluxe room in the new wing. In the evenings, one can sit out on the balcony and fall-asleep with only the sounds of nature (I did). Dinner was a set-course affair which , served under perfect lighting conditions, was reminiscent of Gaming-Lodges in Africa minus the roar of animals.
It was a busy weekend and they ran out of parking for the vehicles which was a bit annoying. Check-in and Check-out were smooth. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall a very positive experience.response / report this review -

If you are looking for a relaxed and luxurious stay, this is the place. The view from the room is breathtaking. The rooms are well organised, and the bathroom large, clean. The pool was relaxing..

Beautiful setting. We stopped off here on the way down from Mini Adams Peak for a sandwich, tea and ginger beer. Sat outside on the terrace with an amazing view. Bathroom facilities also a very high standard.
