We had a fantastic stay at the Inn on the Bay and wish we could have stayed longer! The view from all the rooms and the terrace is stunning and I can't imagine a more pleasant setting for breakfast, which was both provided and delicious! Louise made a different pastry/baked good every morning and there was always a wide array of fruit and yogurt if you wanted lighter fare. Normand and Louise were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and could make recommendations for activities and dining options not just in Marigot Bay, but all over the island. Normand coordinated reservations for us at one of the few restaurants that required them as well as coordinating a day trip to hike Gros Piton, including arranging a water taxi and a hiking guide and recommending a great spot for lunch along the way. Normand also shuttles guests to and from Marigot and provides a cell phone to guests so they can arrange a pickup after dinner. The rooms were comfortable and ours had two fans, which was more than enough because the island cools down at night and AC is not needed. All rooms also have power adapters for US charging cords, which came in handy. And to top it all off, Normand and Louise are friendly and easy to talk to and go out of their way to get to know their guests. I can't recommend Inn on the Bay enough!

Our stay at Inn on the Bay was wonderful. It is away from the noise of the marina in an idyllic location overlooking the bay on one side and the next Bay on the other but only 5 minutes to get down to the Bay and all the restaurants.
The seating all around the house gardens meant that sunrise and sunset were enjoyed and the swimming pool was great!
Normand and Louise are fantastic hosts who are knowledgeable about the area and the roads..
Our 2 best experiences were beach hopping (mine) and the road trip to Pigeon Island (my husbands). Both were recommended by Normand. Beach hopping included fantastic snorkelling, and the scenery at Pigeon Island was beautiful

I will be forever grateful that we chose the Inn on the Bay for our weeklong getaway (early December, 2016). The view of the bay and the sky from their patio is endlessly breathtaking, the breeze so consistently refreshing, and the layout of the small Inn brilliantly provides opportunity for privacy as well as camaraderie with other tenants. Normand and Louise are the quintessential hosts, funny, interesting, helpful -- they provide good information and advice about site-seeing, eating, and shopping, and they have well-established, strong relationships with neighbors and local businesses that we benefited from by association. Good people. The breakfasts are charming and delicious. A magical bonus was the long, private stairway down the steep mountainside to the bay -- where you could snorkel in relative privacy near the anchored sailboats (they provide equipment to borrow). The island is like the garden of Eden, with fruits and vegetables growing all over the place. Their recommended driver, Jonas, was a gift as well. On our day trips, he would take us for saltfish and green bananas at local eateries we never would have found on our own-- DELICIOUS! He also helped us locate galleries of local artists. He was a terrific driver and just an all-round great and fun guy to hang around with. Has lived in St. Lucia all his life and seemed to know everyone in every city! What a great experience! I wish I could return annually. or quarterly.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on the Bay for a 7 day honeymoon over the Christmas holidays and could not be happier with our experience. Our truly wonderful hosts, Hubert and Karla, were absolutely amazing. They ensured we were happy and helped us plan our daily adventures, booking cabs and tours and even shuttling us down for dinners. Our room was immaculate (Thank you Rose) with a spectacular view of the bay. The beautiful breakfast spread offered daily was always delicious and enjoyed pool side. The Inn on the Bay is a unique experience, very different from the "all inclusive," that we recommend wholeheartedly.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on the Bay in St.Lucia for 10 glorious days! We stayed in both room 3 and 4 and believe that any room there would not be disappointing. Normand and Louise provide you with the best service. Louise prepares fresh baked goods each morning and a complete variety of fresh fruits are also available. Normand will arrange any day trips, dinner reservations and just give you good solid advise as needed. The pictures on the webpage are actually the views you will have. There is a deck area to watch the sunset and the sunrise can be seen from the other side of the inn.. We enjoyed snorkeling right below the inn though there are many steps it was worth the walk. We will be returning as well as recommending Normand and Louise's Inn on The Bay!
