This is a newly remodeled resort. The food and service was above par. Diamond club well worth it.

It is beautiful and relaxing for the most part. But,,,,,,, it is a tourist trap as expected. Everything has a price. It's not a cheap price either. In general all the staff and guest are pleasant.
The Royalton is basically a time share. Extremely expensive. I felt like I was constantly being watched and evaluated. Anyone else had a similar situation?
Five days so far and not a decent meal until tonight at Hunters Steak House. With the proper management this could become a resort.
A special thanks to Ziggy with Drive & Fly Excursions. What a delightful individual. Also the sunset cruise on the catamaran was out of this world. The couples spa massage was exceptional. A big thank you to Auggie at the Royalton. A gentleman and a scholar. God bless you.

Wonderful resort, however the "vibe team" needs work compared to other Royalton resorts that we have stayed at. The entertainment left a lot to be desired. St. Lucia is a beautiful island so get out and enjoy it. Don't spend the entire time on the resort.

The staff are the friendliest of all the Caribbean. The food is great the best sun set view and great all inclusive for family. The adult section is very private. Highly recommend The Royalton St. Lucia.

Amazing beautiful and very clean resort. Junior Suite room looks fabulous and very spacious. Awesome view of ocean from all rooms and main lobby. Most staff were very friendly. We met Coco Sam who is a gardener. He is the man for a refreshing coconut concoction. You will find him on the beach every evening at approximately 5:30 to 6 taking down the umbrellas. Very lovely person to chat with. I highly recommend taking the hike to the top of Pigeon Island for a spectacular view. My only complaint is the buffet which was much of the same for both breakfast and lunch and always cold. They also run out of drink ingredients and beer several times a day so stock up on inventory needs improvement otherwise a lovely vacation retreat.

Just LOVED it. St. Lucia is so beautiful, the people are wonderful. Probably my only complaint is the butlers were TOO attentive. They check in constantly. Some may like that but I prefer to reach out when I need something. Such problems, eh?

The resort has massive potential let down by the majority of staff who apply no logic to their work and some that are simply rude. The resort was at 50% capacity when I stayed there and many times had to wait over an hour for my food. Which begs the question; how long would I have waited if the resort was full?
This is supposed to be a 5 star resort but I've stayed in 4 star resorts that makes this one seem less than 4 star. The food while isn't bad is not 5 star or even near 5 star.

Food and service are excellent. Highly recommend. If you can request Denver as your Butler in diamond Club, I would highly suggest. He went above and beyond for my wife and I. We will definitely recommend and return.

Very luxurious and beautiful hotel, only thing is the night life is dead. Restaurants close early and the Disco/club was non existent. When you're there make sure you make arrangements for your own entertainment.

The place to stay!!! The staff go above and beyond Any problems which our minor. It sorted out straight away.. Food is at its best the drinks our flowing.. The sun.the people. The views. Somewhere everybody should come you will not be dispointed. But the spa is much to much money that I have ever been too so that really needs to be looked. As does the woman who takes pictures unbelievable price but for the rest off this hotel 5star.. Well deserved And the staff and entertainment omg. It is the Best of the Best.. Come and see u will not be disappointed. As they say here ya Man 👨

Facilities were great but awful options for people with food allergies. You would get asked if you had allergies but then there would be nothing done about it. Although we had an amazing week, I spent most if being sick because there was gluten in almost every gluten free dish. That being said, if you went to dorada in the hideaway it was good as after a couple of visits they got to know what gluten was and prepared dishes accordingly.

Brilliant hotel, the staff do everything they possibly can to look after you! The deluxe junior room was great and comes with a whirlpool bath.
Some watersports are free to do off the hotels beach, cleaners do an ace job too.
The hotels shops can be quite dear, as expected but taxi's to the local town are quite cheap!
The food choice is ace and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in St Lucia, they do everything they can to look after you and help you have a great time!

Its a beautiful place with a very relaxing atmosphere. Pools are awesome. Time seems to slip away without notice. Staff are mostly welcoming and friendly. Even if I'm local I was treated well. Definitely a place I would want to visit again in the near future.

We stayed at the Royalton St Lucia resort for 1 week the end of May for our anniversary. We had such a wonderful time there. The staffs are so friendly and helpful . Especially Edwina in the entertainment team at the resort and Lisa in the Tango tour boat . They are exceptionally nice, energetic, helpful, always trying to entertain the guests. Constantly interacting with guests all ages by talking, dancing, etc. It has not been a dull moment when they are around. Thank you for making our vacay more memorable. We definitely recommend your resort to everyone

Wonderfully relaxing! We spent 7 days at the adult only Hideaway Royalton St Lucia. We had an ocean view from our presidential suite, the staff was attentive but gave us our privacy, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels; the food was delicious , the drinks were plentiful, we had a wonderful time and it was a perfect place to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

This is a new facility, just opened in February. It had all modern convinced, which was very nice. They were somewhat short on activities and the service staff fell a little short at times, but I attribute that to being new. Some parts were still under development. Despite the short comings this is a nice resort. Additionally, all of the management team were visible daily throughout the day, engaging guess for feedback on what could be done better. The one thing I truly didn't like was the fact that I was approached by a salesperson trying to sell me a vacation package. I think that is very bad taste, but I'm free to say no, sooo

Just got back and had alot of issues. We had 2 butlers, one was better than the other but both not very attentive. One gave me wrong information and when I ordered food or drinks she never brought it. In our room, water poured through the ceiling, happened twice and paint was falling off the ceiling in the shower. We couldn't adjust the air conditioning either, it was stuck. They said they were going to fix these things and never did.
We waited 1 1/2 - 2 hours for our food every night in all the restaurants and the food was horrible!! People were walking out, tired of waiting. The drinks were bad too. On top of that all the guests were getting food poisoning including us. We were violently ill, up all night vomiting and diarrhea. I was not able to eat or drink anything that wasn't packaged without getting a stomachache so I ate cereal, chips and drank soda the whole week! Their bottled water is so bad! Everyone at the resort was talking about how sick they got. There was vomit all over the pool areas, so gross. The food smelled bad and so did the resort. There was also nothing to do at night. The medical center was hopping though with all the sick people. The resort allowed guests to party in the pools until 4 in the morning too which annoyed us since we couldn't sleep.
We complained to management and all they offered us was a spa credit. We don't like sitting in a spa while on vacation, we like to be on the beach so we said no. Plus we would rather have a credit off our bill but they wouldn't do it. I will NEVER stay at a Royalton Resort again anywhere. Paid a lot of money to stay at this crappy resort! Stay at Sandals, they know how to do an all inclusive right.

We just returned yesterday from a fabulous week at the Royalton St.Lucia! There were 11 of us all together, 6 adults and 5 children. First off, the resort is beautiful and the weather was awesome! We had the diamond club which I believe made our stay the best it could be! With diamond club, you get a butler and because our group was large we had 2 fantastic, hard working butler's! Ferna and Sean truly made our experience top notch! We couldn't have asked for better service. If you decide to travel to this resort, you will not be disappointed!

Wanted to share our recent experiences with this new resort that we visited. Customer service needs a lot of work. This being a newer establishment, they need to work on making sure that the customer will come back and recommend it to others. Spa was a horrible experience. After being promised discounts, manager failed to deliver on his promises. It wasn't even the amount of the promised discount, it's the fact that the mood was ruined with unprofessionalism and complete disregard of the paying customer.

This is by far the most regal hotel on the island. It's massive! Several restaurants to choose from, a courteous staff and amazing views. Can't wait to go back!

Booked the Royalton months ago through a travel agent. Royalton continued to insist that construction would be complete prior to our first week of February vacation. This is months after the date Royalton claimed that they would have construction finished. Almost half a year to be exact! Long story short, resort not completed, 13th hour rebooking at another resort, that resort was horrible!!!!! You think Royalton would have credited the week due to their inability to bring the project in on time. NO, take the reservation and then jump ship when construction wasn't complete. HORRIBLE customer service in regards to making things right. I presume that goes with all their customer facing activities, dollars first, customer satisfaction second!!! What's most disturbing is that some of the folks we ran into at the resort we defaulted to were comped a week of their choice. No idea what that selection criteria was. Would never entertain a Royalton resort anywhere again! They just didn't respond correctly when they took deposits but failed to open on time as they insisted they would.

I'm with Diane. I spent most of my time keeping out of the way of 30 ton trucks when I went up to have a look.
I am sure it wii be very good when completed and opened, but lets get serious.

Still have great memories with kids a Smugglers Cove.
