  My husband and I had the BEST time here when we stayed last spring. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is very welcoming & relaxing. The service was very personable and friendly… the staff really loves interacting with guests and taking good care of everyone, and I would have to say has to be in the top 3 resort staffs I’ve ever experienced! :) That really set this resort apart from others, along with the food which is soooo fresh and delicious! You can tell that they do not skimp on quality ingredients.
  
  The owner of the resort, Konrad, is on property regularly and makes sure that all guests and staff are taken care of really well, which I think makes a huge difference. Employees seem to care more because they know that he cares too, and most of the employees have worked there for many years – you don’t have a high turnover ratio there like you do at many resorts. Just as an example, during our stay we were talking with a server at breakfast about our family and when we mentioned we had a daughter at home name Lucy (like the island’s name), she asked what was her favorite color (pink). The next day was her day off and when she returned the day after that, she had a handmade necklace with pink beads that she had made for us to give to Lucy – just as a gift, no compensation expected. Another evening the bartender saw us carrying some beer down to the beach to watch the sunset so they packed us up a small cooler of beer and brought chips and salsa for us. For us, it was added touches like this which made all the difference.
