What a lovely hotel. Staff were so sweet and helpfull. Nothing as too much trouble. Would stay there again. Thank you Olive for looking after us.
This is a great place if all you want to do is relax.
There really weren't any activities at the resort during the day or in the evening. After the beach and pool closed, your only option was to go off site for entertainment.
The food was kinda of pricy if you didn't purchase a meal plan. We usually dined at Spinnakers which was right next door. The callaloo and crab soup in Seagrapes was amazing and worth the money.
The room was spacious with an amazingly large bathroom. The shower has this funky moveable shower partition that if not placed properly resulted in water on the floor.
I would stay here again.
Love Bay Gardens Beach Resort. Great friendly staff. Great food and bars. Love Reduit Beach and the pool. We stayed in a timeshare by the pool. Had a great view of Rodney Bay.
Beautiful resort on a fantastic beach. Relatively small, locally run, resort which is part of a group of hotels in Rodney Bay: Bay Gardens Beach Resort, Bay Gardens Hotel and Bay Gardens Inn. There are two restaurants on site at the resort, the largest of which is between the pool and the beach and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The other is along the beach and specializes in seafood at lunch and dinner.
The facilities are all well-maintained. There is a decent size pool which never seemed crowded during our stay (Easter holidays). There is a hot tub in the centre of the pool which is open to adults only.
I suspect the reason the pool is not too busy is due to the fantastic beach just steps away upon which a large number of loungers and fixed and moveable sunshades are provided free of charge to guests.
The beach is stunning, with views of Pigeon Island national park and volcanic mountains and is home to a number of watersports, the non-motorised ones being free to guests and we didn't need to book we just walked up and were able to take out paddle boards and kayaks out whenever we wanted. There is also an inflatable water park in the bay that is run by the resort which was good fun. We had several hours of use included in our room rate which was nice.
The concierge and hotel staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. There is a shuttle that runs between the hotels and is useful for nipping out to the supermarket or restaurants in town but it's also a simple 10 minute walk into town, if you prefer.
There's a nice restaurant along the beach, Spinnaker's, and plenty of options in town if you'd like to explore the local offerings. You can get a water taxi from the beach to Pigeon Island (US$12 return with US$8 entrance fee) if you'd like to explore some of the local history and you can get local buses to Castries and Gros Islet from just outside the Massy supermarket in town, which was pretty decent.
If you're looking for trips further afield, I'd recommend the catamaran tours to Soufriere, waterfall, volcano and cocoa plantation. We had a great time, the crew were top notch, plenty of food and drink supplied, very relaxing.
Rooms were clean and the food was good. Location is right on the beach, beautiful view. Way overpriced considering the newer resorts around the area. Staff was not very friendly or helpful, except those in management positions concerning our booking issue with special price quoted in emails, and the balance they said we owed when we arrived. Would be very careful with the cost, as other guests were at the front desk also asking for explanations about their charges!
Beautiful beach. Clean and quiet! Nice sunset location
Very relaxing day. The massage was wonderful. Excellent lunch.
Best time here during anniversary. We also had our 3 month old baby with us and it was great. Recommending for good beach vibes food and rooms.excellent customer service
Always a pleasure coming here, although they had lost a few of the staff the last time we came, the poolside bar was not staffed on occasions (maybe due to this) and had to go to beachside bar for drinks.
On site restaurants are good and the staff are always helpful, rooms are always clean and if in one with a sea view it's nice extra.
The fitness room could do with some new equipment but it's always stocked with towels and water so no real complaints.
The food at their hi ride restuarant was basic at best. Would honestly look into somewhere else if you know food is a big deal to u
Bay gardens is a bit rustic and the staff is warm and friendly, local cuisine is good, beach is nice and the best is the shuttle from the hotel to the town.
Very nice and runs on island time.
Came here with resort for the day whilst visiting from the Azura.
Great value.
Great beach great massage great pina coladas
Great beach area. Barry the bartender was amazing. Food was great as well. Great location, walking distance from town. Close enough to everything you would need as a vacationer
Had a brilliant day out with the family. Fun.
Nice hotel on the beach. You're greeted with run pinch upon arrival. There is a restaurant on premise with happy hour discounts. There are other restaurants, supermarket and places to hang nearby.
Stayed here a number of t ok message now. Smashing place and the staff are amazing.
Very accommodating. Excellent food. Really friendly staff
This is definitely a place u should visit. The staff is so professional and personalable. Suites are to died for.
Excellent customer service great food inviting ambience
Beautiful beach, good food, friendly staff. Great place to stay.
We had a bay view soon. Large and comfortable. The bathroom was great. Large with a great shower - which you will need in the heat!
Stayed here for a week and had the most relaxing holiday, such friendly staff who will arrange and book many different types of activities for you - or just bring you a poolside drink!
I got the 1 day pass here which came with 4 drinks, 1 lunch, access to the pool area, and 1 hour massage. It was appropriately priced. Maybe 10-20% off in total.
Pros:
Good pool
Decent drinks
Good amount of seating area
Fun hot tub in the center of the pool area
Cons:
Like most of St. Lucia. The staff work on their own time and often will stop serving or will just ignore you.
Vendors can still walk up and down the beach to ask you for money or to sell you various items
Very friendly resort with great attention to detail. The staff can't do enough to make sure your experience is a pleasurable one.
A reasonable choice of food in all the restaurants prepared to a very high standard. The overriding memory when I leave will be the ambience created by the friendly staff towards the guests.
Perfect location for family. Excellent decor. Grand all-around view. Great food. Superb service. They take sanitation seriously with perfectly clean rooms, sanitation seals on toilets, sanitiser stations in buffet areas.
