An amazing hotel in Beirut mixing charm and luxuary ❤❤❤
Lovely space, great atmosphere but I personally can’t seem to enjoy the food there
The overall experience was not very convenient in the restaurant.
1. Staff was not professional and seemed in a hurry.
2. Overpriced for what they have to offer.
3. Service was way lower than standard compared to other high-end restaurants.
4. Atmosphere was cozy.
5. Food was tasty.
Note for the staff: Being fluent in french does not mean that the service should magically be acceptable.
An expensive restaurant compared to what they have to offer. You can get the same quality for half the price at other places.
Very nice staff though.
A feel of Paris in Beirut! Villa Clara's charm swept me off my feet the moment I entered its lounge. The fancy & yet warm ambiance in the hotel ,even in the bedrooms is evident. Once you get to talk with Marie-Helene & Olivier ,the owners, you understand the reason. All the furniture, the decorative items, the paintingshave a history.
Marie-Helene ,an Art passionate & fervent collector , gathered in their hotel items by local & international designers & artists added to this a large variety of books scattered on all the tables. So art lovers and book lovers, this is the place to stay.
As for the restaurant, added to the romantic candle ambiance, you will taste the "rafinée" French cuisine like no where else in Lebanon due to Olivier ,a 3stars Michelin chef. Olivier is charming & very helpful .One can trust his suggestions.
Bottom line, the food is exquisite & the overall experience is not to be missed
After almost one year in Beirut, Villa Clara is still the no 1 place to go at any time. The atmosphere is relaxed. The owners, the staff and the other guests are cool and friendly. Food and drinks are best in town, as are the hotel rooms.
It was definitely an outstanding dining experience at the garden terrace. The ambiance was calm. Great food with a variety of mouthwatering dishes. A good selection of wine. Friendly staff.
cozy place with a great atmosphere. Food and service are excellent. Highly recommended! Don't miss out on a great espresso if you are there :)
Lovely setting, romantic, quiet and relaxing. Food was fairly good, but prices are insultingly expensive.
Excellent meat, amazing desserts
A warm and fantastic beiruti hotel boutique run by a lovely couple.
A must visit if in Beirut!
The best french restaurant in beirut!
Beautiful boutique hotel with a charming setup and an original rear garden restaurant. The couple who own the place are very welcoming.
