It's not a museum, It's like the owner really is not convinced yet of wanting this place to be a museum, at the entrance they just gave me a leaflet with plan, room numbers, and naive description about the mosaics, there is no explanations plates next to each mosaic, no room numbers, the false ceiling is old and ugly and not suitable with the exposed pieces, well it's real waste of time, this place should be kept private it's not worth to be listed as museum

This is more of a private collection than a museum - you pass a security checkpoint and then are allowed entry into the building. I was the only one there and had a wonderful experience as the curator took me personally through the collection. If you can’t appreciate the mosaics without a plaque and description.. I think you should stay at home watching Netflix. If a mosaic isn’t enough to depict to you what was happening at the time it was created you have no imagination and shouldn’t visit

It's a small village owned by Bank Audi. It's really nice what they've done with the place. However, the villa itself is worth the visit more than the mosaics themselves, unless that's your kind of thing.

The building itself is really nice. A villa that is over a hundred years old. The mosaics show a variety of style from animal motifs to flowers and plants to almost 3D like patterns. The downside of the museum is the total lack of explanation. Each mosaic should have besides it some information on the date, place of origin and topic.
