  A place that highlights peace and war in a very artistic way. It is a great fusion between domestic architecture and war architecture. All respect to Mona Hallak the one who came up with the idea of renovating this great historical building.

  Historical place, but it isn't getting the museum it deserves. This house is the symbol of the Civil War. When you enter it you should feel the war and its pain, you should feel history. I subjectively didn't feel that much.

  Breathtaking and touching venue. The modern museum design could have been more sensitive to the place’s historicity and original architectural design. The very obvious prostheses make the matter even worse.

  Lieu dont j'attendais l'ouverture comme cadre du souvenir d'une guerre civile particulièrement douloureuse. Lieu enfin accessible au public qui vous induit une émotion bouleversante par l'authenticité de la reconstitution de ce qui a dû se dérouler entre ses murs.

  Je suis toujours ému quand je passe devant la Maison Jaune ou Maison des Snipers mais je désespère de voir un jour le centre culturel promis enfin ouvert.
  Et quand les travaux seront finis, espérons que ce ne sera pas comme à Tripoli où des lieux restaurés et préservés sont fermés, faute d'argent (ou de volonté ?) d'y mettre du personnel

  Во время гражданской войны в Ливане это здание находилось на демаркационной линии и идеально подходило для снайперов. Здесь планировалось сделать музей и культурный центр, но внутри пусто. Видимо ещё не открыт, но мне никто не помешал мне зайти внутрь и даже забраться на крышу
