Nice to have such a get away in beirut! Wish it was of a bigger area. Great for families! would've liked narrow paths and access within the green areas too, not just the main gravel road.

Great place for picnics. One of the last green spots in Beirut. Lots of trees and good size for walking or for daily jogging. The only thing about this green space is that it shuts in summer at 17:00, which is a bit early for my taste. And the guards can be rude sometimes kicking people out when it's time to close. Other than that it's a wonderful spot.

Nice to have open space in middle of busy Beirut. Nice place to take kids to cycle or just to stretch your legs with a walk as the children play.

The Horsh is great .. but the rules are insane.
Not allowed to sit on grass or walk on. Where are children suppose to play !! They need fresh air , green grass and to explore the nature . Lots of kiosks around the Horsh. Empty ..if the guards are around , people will not throw garbage or ruin the garden and still they can enjoy the greenery and sit on grass.

A beautiful green park with a pine forest in the middle of the city. There is a small garden in the middle as well. You can literally have a breathe of fresh air here. There are no functional bathrooms except the men's room in the guard station at the entrance.

Being the only park in Beirut, horsh Beirut is a beautiful spacious garden with a variety of trees but mostly pine trees. It is recommended for all families with kids as well as athletes who like running, I like to go running there as it is a very relaxing place. The only problem is that it is only open from 7AM to 1PM during week days and 7AM to 5PM (7PM during summer) during weekends.

It’s shameful that the municipal body is not properly maintaining this amazing place. If you want access you have to squeeze through a broken barbwire !!! This is pure humiliation. Municipality of beirut members fu*k you

Such a tiny haven in overwhelmingly Beirut. Wish we had a true pine forest and more spaces.
Curators should consider adding some stands and concessions. Just in a limited area not to spoil what precious little there is.

It looks like a great green area in the city of Beirut but when you get there, it's just not quite easy to reach the greens. There's no clear signs to guide the visitors, perhaps they're in Arabic and I don't read Arabic. Some areas look nice but they're fenced.

The best park in the middle of town. You can feel the nature with the pine odor 😊😊

It is a public place where you can enjoy the nature, play tennis, football or just have a walk for free as the place owned by the commune. There is a little cafe for coffee, tea or soft drinks where families come for relaxing and to have fun. Prices are very cheap and the atmosphere is nice.

Minmal care.. Closed currently since winter. Public people seem not welcomed.. Even the pavement and lights around the Garden has no maintenance at all.. No matter how many months pass by.. nothing is fixed.. The ones in charge seem dead. It is a shame..

Beauty of a forest in the middle of a city. However you are simply locked outside. No entry. Why? I dont know.. Probably because its a hopeless country.. And then there was hope somewhere.. Inside this paradise. Amongst the blessed pines.. Under their high high green heads.. There you could have found peace in the country of nothing working nothing woth it.. So it made sense to keep us out of the only green and clean spot in the whole country.

Maybe the only remaining green public area in Beirut Lebanon. But it won't last, we have tendency to damage every good thing in our life.

    Beirut's Central Park
Arguably the largest unspoiled public garden in Beirut.
