  What I like most about the hotel is the spacious balcony with swing with beautiful view on the mountains. The rooms made me feel like we travelled in time, back to the series Twin peaks. Good Lebanese breakfast. We were here in April and the pool was not filled. But when I was here 2 years ago in summer it was.

  First of all the people are lovely and that's why they get 3 stars cause I don't have.the heart to.give them 2. But We negotiated 85 dollars with breakfast in low season. The hotel was empty, but for 2 other rooms I think, and it's so massive it had a bit of "the shining" feel about it. The stairs to the restaurant downstairs were not lit either to add to the gloominess, we had to use out phones up and down. Overall, no Wi-Fi in the rooms, holes in the bed sheets, one in the bathroom wall as well, very dated look especially in the rooms with an interesting choice of carpets, the shower is half a bath half a shower, which makes standing in there very precarious, don't have long feet. Despite saying they would book a cab for us to go to the cedar forest, in the morning the person in charge then did not know what number to call so sent us to the city center to find one. The breakfast, depicted as amazing, had instant coffee for coffee, no fruit juice or any kind nor eggs or bread or pastries on offer, which again is fine but not at this price you'd have much better anywhere else in Lebanon ( more than the classic tomato, 2 cucumbers, halloumi cheese, etc. Which I'd expect at a 2 star hotel)
  85 dollars per night is about 30 dollars too much, and if you pay by card they will add 3% to the bill In a hotel Nobody carries that much cash around since the 80s. And if you pay cash, they'll round up to, doesn't change much to the final cost but out of principle it's not a great look.

  Very bad service there's no alcohol, no ac, tv is a hunder years old. And they close the main door you cant go out!!!
