  Very clean, basic bungalows with decent wifi and excellent beds. Darrin, the host, is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and has great stories of Lao from the past 15 years. He also knows what's going on in the 4000 Islands now. It's about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Don Det action, but it's very quiet at night. There are a variety of decent restaurants within a short walk.

  We found this place to be way overpriced. At $17.00 per night, it was pretty much identical to the places charging around half that.
  
  You may get a better price by just turning up, but avoid booking on line.

  Wir hatten hier ein paar super entspannte Tage! Die Hütten sind sehr einfach aber vollkommen ausreichend für uns. Es ist sehr ruhig und man kann wunderbar in der Hängematte dösen mit Blick auf den Mekong. Der Besitzer, ein Australier, ist sehr nett, super gechillt und hat eine Menge Tipps auf Lager. Kommen gerne wieder.

  Rooms are clean and comfortable. Doug is one of the most friendliest and helpful people and has a wealth of knowledge about the island and locals. Perfectly situated so you can walk to the town centre but can't hear the noise from there. Amazing value for money and perfect for an escape. Highly recommend
