  Very pleasant and chilled area. Easy to walk or cycle to the cave. Delightful place to swim on a hot day, water very cold just under the bridge at the cave entrance.
  Follow the pat through the woods plenty of wonderful butterflies. Flip flops not recommended. ☘☘🐝

  Plenty of room to improve the area. Climbing so high up and couldn't get to explore the cave, just out side peeking at itNOT WORTH IT.

  Beautiful caves and views, bit odd to pay to look at some caves but was only 10,000 kip which was a fair amount to us who were on a budget but worth a trip if you've got the time and cash

  We made fun of a few reviews of this place for WEEKS on our Asia trip. There are people who got so mad because this place is twice as expensive as other entrance feesso you knowlike 6 cents instead of 3
  
  Anyway this place is gorgeous and well worth it. And because everyone else is super upset about the cost, there won't be as many people! Bring a bathing suit and swim in the gorgeous blue water.

  Amazing cave. There is aLarge staircase heading up to the entrance and is very well lit inside. Huge stalagmites and stalactites everywhere and a great little area to swim below the cave. Crystal clear waters. It's very easy to get to from vang vieng and I highly recommend it

  This cave is well lit and has a big proper staircase to the entrance and paths paved throughout the inside.

  One of good place to visit in Vang Viang but some people may not like as you have to walk up on the hill with steps.

  Beautiful blue water. We went during the rainy season and thought it was going to be muddy, but the water is indeed blue so really worth the view. A shame you can't bathe in it

  It looks daunting to climb but it's not that bad. Once you're in, go to left side til the end and you'll see almost all of Vangvien. There's also a tiny lake at the bottom before the cave's ticket office. It's 15,000 kips to climb the cave. Or you can save it to swim in the cold little lake. It's slippery. Be careful

  This place was so beautiful! It's 2000 for the bridge and 15000 for the cave.
  
  The stairs are steep but it's pretty quick up them! I would not recommend this for an older person with bad knees or a bad heart - even young fit people were panting like crazy at the top.
  
  We were surprised that there weren't more people - several times were completely alone in different passages.
  
  It's well lit and has flat walk ways, which is nice.
  
  One sad thing about this place, and many other beautiful places in SE Asia, is that there's garbage. It's not a ton but it's always enough to piss us off.
  
  Before you leave, at the bottom of the stairs to the right there is a few bridges that take you to a nice shady swimming hole. There's also a Buddha tucked in a shallow cave here that we were surprised to see! Really nice spot to cool down after sweating buckets on the stairs.

  It costs 15,000 + 2,000 for the bridge access but is worth it for reasonably well maintained impressive cave.

  Used to be free..walk up stairs to lime stone caves..all through to other side of mountain. Great photos for scenics
