Literally the worst place I have ever stayed at.. Only way to describe it is a DUMP. I stayed there with 6 travel buddies and we all got bitten by bed bugs. You will also I have to brush your teeth from the shower head since the taps don't work. The manager could not be bothered after complaining about bed bugs.. He made an elaborate excuse. Do yourself a favour and do NOT STAY HERE

Clean basic room w/ no service. Wifi is slow (as in most places in Laos). Staff are neither friendly nor attentive nor helpful. Had to ask for water and tower everyday. I stayed here for 3 nights only because I was injured and couldn't book ahead thru agoda while travelling on a boat. Didn't want to pack up and move. Definitely NO REPEAT.

Pretty chilled and cheap hostel. Everyday there are a couple of free whiskey bottles on the table.
The unicorns live upstairs so you have to search for them

Reasonably good value for money. Free whiskey and tea and instant noodle. Wifi is not working properly sometimes. And I am sorry but do something with your birds. It is impossible to sleep in the morning due to their screaming!

Did not slept in the main house but the owner found us a room in a side street, expensive but he offered us a meal and a drink when we arrived.

My friend (girl) had lost her passport and wallet a day or two before, stayed here for one night in a different room than me, and asked for directions to a cheaper place she had heard about. One of the men working there said she could stay and eat for free. What he meant was in his bedroom around the corner with him. He then tried to touch and kiss her and she was very scared and got out as soon as possible. Double rooms were comfortable, but maybe don't stay here if you don't like to be sexually harassed.

A bit overprice but all the city is overpriced during high season. Room upstairs are good, very nice balcony. The one in the back not worth it. Staff very friendly.
