To my knowledge the only river-side spot to sunbathe. Sunny lounge platforms, shady hammocks, bar, restaurant with burgers. You must buy food or drink to stay. Usually blasting "Buddha Bar" style lounge music, which could be worse.

Very good area in vang vienh to chill with an amazing view over the river. For the french dudes you can play petanque and enjoy a pastis!!!

Super chill spot to have a drink, lounge in a hammock and take in the sites. River, tubers, cows grazing and beautiful mountains. Fire every day at 6pm, nice to warm up to after a day on the river.

Nice hammocks by the river. Get a cocktail and enjoy! (Likely to be drunk white early 20s people) Loud music is blaring so prepare yourself for that.

Fun place to end your tubing at the end of the river trail. Enjoyed some beers lying in hammocks watching the river float by. Chicken and rice meal was great also. Toilets a bit dirty however.

Great little beach bar watch out for the undercover policemen, people were arrested/escape by running into the river whilst we were there.

Great place to chill out in hammocks watching the action on the river with views of the mountains behind. Drinks are a bit pricey which seems typical of bars along the river. There is background music that I tuned out after a while.

Very nice place to chill in the afternoon or night. With the view of river, chill in a hammock. Just need to clean their hammock regularly as some of them got wet and a bit smelly. But all in all experience is great, great food and place is romantic enough to bring your love one

this bar is good to rest, read a book, see the song river and drink lao bear!
there are many hammocks for your rest. i realy like this bar! but be careful many bugs like mosquito.response / report this review
