Very nice, if steeply priced. I guess not easy to make great cake in LPB. These guys managed.

Ordered a cappuccino and received a latte, very dry brownie, average pain au chocolate and white chocolate cheesecake.

The place itself is nice and the coffee, anyway, tasted good, but considering the price range there is a lot of space for improvement.

Reasonable coffee on the main street in Luang Prabang. The menu is decent and they know their coffee. My friend had the ristretto, I had the latte. I didn’t like the smoking inside policy.

Great little place. Expensive for Luang Prabang. Went there several times, to relax and use WiFi.

I love this cafe. I came in for the book exchange -- the best in town by far. Loads of books, of more interest and better quality and variety than most bookstores in this corner of the world, and you can swap -- your book + $2 and you have a new read!

I stayed (and stayed and stayed) and came back (and back and back) because it was such a comfortable, stylish, friendly place to linger. Nanta was always wonderful to chat with if she was in, everyone on staff was so friendly, and there was just a nice welcoming vibe here.

I wish I could say I tried loads of things from the menu, but I had the vegan grilled veg + hummus baguette, and then just ordered that same thing again and again.

Go, browse, read, linger, eat, drink, chat -- this is a lovely place for all the things.

One heck of a cappuccino. One of the best I had so far. Perfect rounded flavour and aromatic.

Enjoyed an almond milk latte and the size was very generous :) The ambiance of the place is great BUT the smoking both indoors and outdoors is offputting for those who don't smoke, please consider at least making indoors non smoking.

Quaint little cafe in downtown Luang Prabang. Perfect place to grab a coffee, or something stronger.

Great cafe on the main strip. You can hang here for a while, browse large the extension of books on the shelves, and they play great deep house in the background. They have WiFi and outlets at every seat. I had the espresso and it was crafted well using locally sourced beans from the mountains outside of LP.

Nice atmosphere. Great place to chill, have a drink and a meal or even a quick bite. Great tea. And EXTRA bonus points for the bamboo straws instead of plastic (make sure you request one though)

One of the healthiest and most original menu in Luang Prabang! This is the ONE place in Laos that can satisfy even the most demanding travelers Wether you 're a coffee addict, a strict vegan, a juice-detox freak or a gluten-free fanatic, there is something that will delight you for sure!

Owner Nanta Faber has managed to cleverly blend timeless casual swiss hospitality and contemporary asian urban flair. Novelty cafe has a very "homy" feel with its bookshelves full of random querky little toys and playing cards and boardgames and much more..

The free Wifi connection is also very good (according to lao standards) so it is definitely the best place in the main street to get trapped for a coffee break that extends into a lazy brunch that slowly turns into lounging all afternoon and eventually camping in the premices all day long! Did i forget to mention? Novelty cafe is children-friendly, dog-friendly, and even backpacker-friendly!

Great place for food and just hanging out. Nice ambience and popular among travelers. Iced teas change so always ask to see what kinds are available. Always refreshing, must try the iced green tea with mint.

Very tasty sweet options and nice coffee. Great selection of books, nice setting and friendly and attentive staff. Fairly pricey though, thus only 4 stars from me.

Went there for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I got the hash brown nest which had an egg and some bacon, it also came with a salad. Im not used to eating salad for breakfast but i was pleasantly surprised how refreshing it was and it was perfectly dressed too. The coffee was pretty good, not as strong as i like but still pretty good.

Love this place.. The slightly higher prices are more than worth it for the amazing service, hospitality, views of French Colonial Luang Prabang, and far above average coffee. Actually one of the only places in Southeast Asia I've been where they bring you a cool glass of filtered water free of charge.. These little touches make this a great place. Lastly, i will add that the owner is super cool and plays the most AMAZING selection of music I've ever heard at a cafe.. No exaggeration.

Came across this cafe whilst passing by. It definitely has a novelty about it. Nice selection of novel books to read. Lovely ambience and nice chilled out music playing in the background. Loved the idea of the menu design as it was placed in a big photo frame. Had an iced latte for 21000 kip. Great service and very friendly staff. Had wifi which is always a bonus point. Also a cute dog called George running around. Located around other cafes too but this one stood out due to its exterior design which captured my eye.
