  I recently spent five days (11-16 April) at this hotel--loved it. The following things were all excellent: staff friendliness and knowledge, accommodations, ambiance. I joined with hotel staff on Songkran to splash water on passersby--very fun. Location is also good within walking distance of the 'downtown' area and the Mekong River.

  A big dated and old. Staff is a bit and miss. Overall a nice place, but not worth the premium they ask for.
