In general the kayaking tour with Mr. Mo is the same as it is all over the island: You see the small and big waterfall, go dolphin watching and all this mostly with the kayaks. So for itself the plan is nice, the view amazing and the tour itself recommendable. Breakfast at the restaurant is included (which is horrible) and lunch (which was nice) and a bottle of water.

BUT - and this is a huge but - no one told us that this is a tour only for people with advanced kayaking skills and we even asked about it beforehand! It was rainy season and the water level really high, so all the trees and bushes are like obstacles during the ride and the current is quite strong in many parts. We were only a small group (they said in the high season there are 30-40ppl), so the guide should have been able to watch over everyone and help us get through the harder parts. Unfortunately he didn't care: We were on the hardest part of the tour, strong currents, lots of obstacles through landscape as mentioned before and he kept yelling we have to go faster and faster. We had some experience with kayaking, but not in those kind of waters. End of story: At one point we were not able to manage going around a huge tree and ended up kind of under it. This was really dangerous, as there was only little space between the tree and the water - we basically lay in the boat, got caught in the branches and tried to struggle our way out. The guide? Nowhere to be seen! At some point we started to panic, as the current drove us more and more under the tree and water got in the kayak (which was basically only a plastic nutshell). We overturned and lost everything which was tied to the boat, ended up underneath it and struggled to get back up again.
The guide? Instead of helping us, he blamed us for everything and being that stupid and mouthed further insults!! We tried to reason with him, but he was totally enraged instead of calming us down and showing his responsibility as a "tour guide". In hindsight he just didn't care in general for his role as a guide - he never talked about the places we went or explained anything. When he talked, he just went on talking about corruption, drinking beer and losing his mobile phones - it was a total joke!

If you are really good with kayaking and can handle a rude guide who doesn't really do his job, you'll be fine. Or maybe other ones are better. The sights are really nice, nature is great around the island and you'll have a great workout (hello, blisters!). Otherwise one star would still be too much for this "experience".
