i have been to hard rock in Thailand and New York. i have to say that the service here is lower than others and the taste is not that good.

Love their salad, New York steak is very good here. Now have local Lao menu. Have outside dining with great english rock music, Located at Lao ITECC. Very safe and convenient parking. Great customer service.

Very impolite customer service. Expensive burgers with foul taste and smell probably due to poor handling and shipping. Clean by Hard Rock Cafe standard. Parking can be tough.

Just what you expect from a Hard Rock. Food is good, beer is cold, the staff are fun and live music. What more do you need. The location is all that keeps this particular HR from getting 5 stars.

The best western food in Laos, you'll pay a fair amount for it though.
On a sadly negative note though, It's possibly the worst location of any hard rock cafe I have ever come across! I really wish they found a way to move it closer to the river or the centre of town. That said, because it is so badly located, you'll find on most nights that you may be one of very few customers and thus get amazing service from the staff.response / report this review -

Tourist trap..lol Lao fusion food.. live band indoor and outdoors. Really outside the city lots of parking. Not too many people.. just tourists not too many locals

My first ever HRC visit. It was much as I would have expected and I was quite impressed, especially so given where it is. Worth a trip if you are in Vientiane.

It was very quiet the night I went so I was entertained by the very friendly staff. It is an out of the way location which makes it hard to get to. The night I went, the band was not to my taste in music so I left early
