Stunning place to stay. Host is amazingly knowledgeable. A little far from town which is perfect if you want to avoid the crowds. High recommend staying here.

Great stay out of the way of the main town. Sometimes the last walk home of the day was a bit far but this means that it has the seclusion that you're probably looking for. If you have a bike then it's no problem but then you miss the walk home.

I understood this was countryside bungalows but I would describe it more so as jungle bungalows as you literally are surrounded by plants as can't see any countryside view from your bungalow.

The view is from the front of the property on the main road that runs out of town towards the blue lagoon.

It was great being surrounded by all the dogs, ducks and cats that inhabit Nouths place. They all made sure to say hello when you came back, whatever time of day.

Nouths understanding of farangs means she is able to provide you with everything you may need or want, she really is helpful and lovely, as were the rest of her team.

Good noodlesoup with vegetables.Very gentle landlady. Nice green setting. Very good fried yellow noodles with chicken. Good Sauce and seasoning.

This is a lovely spot outside of town -- quiet, restful, in a gorgeous garden. Reading the reviews, I wish I'd stayed for a meal. I stopped off for a very good mango shake during a bike ride, pet some cats and scritched some dogs, and chatted with the friendly owner. It's warm, welcoming, and feels homey (if your home is way more beautiful than mine. Lol).

The host and the overall tranquility of the place is wonderful!! Nouth the hostess is charming, speaks great English and with her family, is extremely happy to offer assistance where possible. The rooms are clean and cute! The bathrooms are simple featuring a bidet and shower all with the toilet, which could be Confronting for westerners but all is kept well considering the price per night. Would stay here over the Silver Naga any day! Nouth, her food and her gorgeous animals really make Vang Vieng a place to remember!!

If you're going to Vang Vieng - Lao Valhalla is a must! There are tidy and nice little bungalos in the middle of the jungle and a bar/restaurant with excelent food end beverages. The owner is an angel! She organizes everything for you, even pics you up from the bus station and brings you back.

Izs important for you to know, that there is no ac. Bit because of the location midst trees and plants, it cools down at night to very nice 23 °C.

The location is a little remote, so youll need a motorbike to go to town. On the upside, its very quiet at night, no party people around. I realy can recommend this hostel, if youre looking for a more quiet place with the probably best staff i've seen so far in Laos.

Nouth's place in Vang Vieng is one of the best places I've stayed in during our trip! It's a bit out of the center of the city, just enough to avoid the crowds but still stay within a walking distance. Not that you'll ever want to go back to the city since the food and the hospitality are so great here that we just had most of our dinners here. Nouth does everything almost on her own and brings her smile to everyone involved. We can't wait to come back

The owner is very accomodating. The resto is so cozy and a good place to relax. They serve good food and the owner herself cooks for her clients. They have nice villas and the location is very strategic. It's 1km away from Vang Vieng proper. A very nice place to stay at after a tiring day.

Lao Valhalla is fantastic and the owner, Nouth, is largely to thank for that. The bungalows are clean, comfortable, and attractive. Nouth and her family members that help around the property were always friendly and helpful. The food was always good (breakfast included with the room). And Nouth's dogs and cats make excellent companions when drinking a beer and staring out at the karst mountains from the restaurant floor seating area. Nouth will help you organize scooter rentals, tours, and transportation to your future destination. The place is located across the river in the direction of the blue lagoon so it has more of a rural vibe but we personally loved it. The nature around Vang Vieng, not the town, is the draw after all.

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Amazing views of the mountains. It's on the way to Blue lagoon where you can go for a swim. It's also really close to one of the rock climbing spots. You can watch the bats flying at dusk from the back of the property. The owner Nouth is really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.

A great place to stay! Off the beaten track with a quiet, rural feeling among the rice fields & mountains. Food is decent too. Do be aware that there is a 4,000 kip bridge crossing fee into town (the fee covers you out & back). The fee is more for motorbikes/cars.
