Very pretty garden to sit in at the back. Budget cocktails were not good. Worth having a drink at for the setting, especially at night.

The ambiance here is great. The garden in the back is super funky and has pretty lighting. The food is so-so but what was wicked were the mosquitos! Obviously the restaurant can’t help the fact that there are bugs, but there are no coils or candles and one bottle of spray for everyone. As much as I wanted to return i couldn’t handle getting eaten alive!

Very chill place. It's higher than the road so the traffic won't bother you too much.

This place has nice ambience with a cute garden and free pool table. Do not come here for the food. Ordered the burger and fried noodles. Burger was so small for the money and fried noodles were the worst I’ve had in all of southeast Asia. Come here to drink in a cute garden or play pool but don’t come here expecting a decent meal.

This was one of our weirder dining experiences in Luang Prabang. We did the at-table BBQ, where the waiter popped out a tile in the center of our table, inserted a bucket of hot coals, and then showed us how to roast meat and cook soup on a metal tray set atop the coals. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the waiters spoke very little English and were either poorly trained or outfitted. Our waiter burned his hands multiple times. There’s no guilt in dining like knowing someone is actively hurting themselves while making your meal.

Everything went wrong: I ordered vegetarian soup which came with meat inside, my boyfriend got his burger completely cold. When I had let them know that the vegetarian dish had meat inside, they told me „it’s okay“. Our drinks didn‘t come at all, at some point we were told one is not available anymore and the other one didn‘t arrive for another 20min then. The bill included things we didn‘t order, we were charged for the soup and in the end had to ask three times to get our change back.

Very pretty location, especially at night - that is what the 2 stars are for

5 stars because: they have budget options, which is what we had and was really good, the menu looks interesting, music was relaxing and amazing, better than other places we've been to, nice garden views at night, comfy seats, decent prices for drinks. The mix fruit shake was very good.
Yes, like other comments here the waiters might forget things that you order, happened to us and didn't bother, just gave them a gentle reminder. But then again these guys are young laotion boys who don't have the same education as in the west, remembering things in a foreign language can be difficult. All I'm saying is..be considerate.

Very pretty location at night with the plants and lighting. Plenty of staff but they were fairly assumptive and made lots of mistakes on orders compared to other local eateries. Free whiskey was offered on arrival. Bill was wrong. Food was ok. There are far better places to dine.

First we get a Beer which wasn't cold and the Pepsi we ordered was missing. We wait 15 minutes and asked about the Pepsi and than we got the information that Pepsi isn't available and we ordered a 7up instead. Which was cold instead of the Beer. The ordered Burgers came 5 minutes later and they were cold and the French Fries also. Said that to the service, who didn't speak good english and waited an other half hour. We didn't had any information if we get new burgers or anything. Then we asked what about the cold burgers and they didn't do anything in an hour. We left than without eaten anything. Do not recommend.

LaoLaoGarden is a totally atypical bar that bears its name because it gives you the feeling of immersing yourself in a garden at the entrance. Very nice, even the toilet!
The atmosphere is sypathic with free tabe of pools. The employees and the boss are very smiling.
The price of drinks is standard.
I would definitely come here again.

Cheap beer, great atmosphere. The lower part has a nice cosy restaurant feel while at the top of the beer garden there is a second bar, seating and pool table.

The restaurant was pretty empty when we were there, but food took a long time to arrive- maybe almost an hour.
I ordered chicken curry, but was served buffalo instead. They didn't serve my steamed rice. They told me they were out of rice only when I chased for it. Disappointing service. Food quality ordinary.
The other restaurants we've been to so far were better.

I love this place. The food is incredibly tasty and plentiful(!), the drink specials are great, and the atmosphere is unlike any other--especially at night. The restaurant has a social-romantic vibe, and the servers are very kind. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews but this place absolutely deserves it

It have been because we were there before they were prepared (5pm) but the service was very slow for us. Even getting the bill after a few drinks seemed like an ordeal. But i like the garden theme and it is very spacious with cool decor inside. We didn't eat but people at the tables around us were having the traditional Korean style bbq which looked pretty good.

Nice outdoor seating area, and big servings. Food is ok, nothing special, the prices are pretty good. Not much in the way of service and the tables could all use some cleaning. Cheap alcohol makes this a favourite hangout for backpackers and some locals.

The food was delicious! They have a very extensive menu, staff is nice and music was great. We loved some explanations on Lao culture they have written in the menus, very interesting. The atmosphere is pleasant with candle lights and several plants.
